Each two-bedroom/2.5-bathroom Sky Home is a luxurious condo suite, offering 1,333 square feet of space, including a 170-square-foot balcony.

Every room in every Sky Home has a water view. No Sky Home sits below the fifth floor. Spacious and comfortable, each Sky Home is at least twice as wide as a typical beach condo. With private water-view balconies, each is equipped with all the conveniences you'd expect to find in a premier resort, including spacious closets with extra linens and pillows, as well as a dishwasher, washer/dryer and much more. Every room has its own full bathroom plus a half-bath for Sky Home common-area use. Each of Portofino's five Mediterranean-inspired towers features its own exclusive outdoor pool and revitalizing whirlpool spa, plus covered parking for your convenience.

Beautiful but stressful stay

Condo was not clean upon arrival. Hair in kitchen and dirty rug that had not been vacuumed. Hairball the size of a ping pong ball and cigarette butts strewn about the terrace. I thought the condo was no smoking? Chairs not on their proper places. It was odd. Sofa cushions turned around showing zippers. No attention to detail. We contacted management who came to fix the above issues. We ultimately cleaned ourselves after buying some supplies at the local Walmart. Not a good start to a vacation. Place never felt clean to us. Sofa has no support and just not comfortable. Sheets were so wrinkled they looked like crepe paper. Mattresses don’t have protective covers and upon departing we saw stains on the mattresses. Gross! Hope owner addresses these concerns. It’s a beautiful place but needs some TLC. Yes I’m picky but it was 400$ a night almost so I’m entitled! First impressions are everything and our first impression was disappointing. I put a review in under Portofino’s website but it has never posted! I find that unacceptable therefore would not return to this complex. Too bad because it is a beautiful place.

Excellent view and patio! I would have given five stars but for...

The large patio makes the property unique! Excellent view! However, we were cooking a Thanksgiving meal and had difficulties because the stove is not heating up to the correct temperature. Instead of baking the turkey at 350, we had to cook longer utilizing convection baking at 450. Some additional minor maintenance needs to be done: broken towel rack sitting in master bathroom, broken light screen on patio, and old weak torn chair bottom on one chair on bottom patio. If these items are corrected, it would be a five star rating.

Perfect Views

I stayed at this property with my husband, 3 year old son, and in-laws. The location of the property was great. It was so easy to walk to the beach. Our favorite part was the terrace. The sunsets were gorgeous. It was too windy our first two days, so we weren't able to enjoy it as much as we would have liked. We did have some negatives: the king size mattress was super firm and gave us backaches because we aren't used to sleeping on a firm mattress (but that wouldn't stop us from staying again), the showerhead in the master bath had a leak where the head connects to the pipe, so the water pressure was low when showering, there also appeared to be what looked like mold around the vent in the master bath, there was a leak under the kitchen sink so there was a bucket left in there and it was half full of stinky water and the dryer did not work properly and we had to drive home with wet clothes. Other than that, we really did enjoy our stay and would stay again as long as those things were fixed. It is a beautiful property. We loved waking up and opening the curtains to see the water and beach. This property is the perfect size for a family of 5. I think the positives really outweigh the negatives we had and we would definitely stay again.

Great condo very clean. Wonderful view. Needs more cooking pots, bowls, silverware. Also outdoor grill did not work. Very disappointed. Bed a little hard for my taste.

Beautiful beach condo

We love Portofino Resort and Pensacola Beach. We chose this unit because of the view and the extended terrace. The booking, payment, and check out were easy and response to messages was quick. The condo is beautiful. Sunsets on the terrace are amazing. We could see the beautiful blue waters, hear the tide and feel the gulf breeze on the terrace. A couple of nights we watched the sunset by the bay at the main pool of the resort. The listing described a queen bed and a pullout bed in the guest room but it actually had two full size beds In the guest room and a pullout sofa in the living room. It seems the terrace pics are combined with another unit, showing two different dining tables out there. But we were not disappointed. The terrace is large and nice with good furniture. Lots of large closets. Good, but overpriced food in the restaurant.
