Yes the property was welcoming to our two dogs. The breakfast provided was fresh and plentiful. The rooms were spacious, tidy and suitable for our stay.The hosts were pleasant and welcoming and available when needed.Overall an excellent week away and would recommend to others.

Nice little pods. However, not huge indoor space and it would be a real squeeze with 4 or 5 people.Pretty built up area too so not the best if you want privacy when outside.Need a tin opener, corkscrew and somewhere to put your dry clothes in the bathroom.

Very nice, clean, tidy and modern.

The pods are really nicely designed with everything you need. One pod has two small rooms with a double bed in each. The other has a living area with tvz couch, small kitchen and shower/toilet. Phil and Kim were very helpful and quick to respond to any questions we had. We enjoyed having the brazier for a fire. It is really close to the beach which is a nice beach with lots of logs for the kids to play with

Perfect spot for a romantic getaway

If you’re looking for an amazing cute accommodation I’d highly recommend staying here. The location is perfect for a long weekend with the beach at your doorstep while still being close to urban centres for any food / drink top ups. The vibe is brilliant though I would say to book during summer to make the most of the beach etc. The hosts were simply incredible with a smooth check in/out procedure and the occasional conversation on the way to the beach or chilling on the patio. 10/10 would stay again

Matariki Recharge!

The perfect place for a weekend getaway. The pods are beautifully decorated and equipped with everything we needed - very cosy with the heaters and a super comfy bed. Definitely only a two minute walk to the beach to view some stunning sunsets. Thanks for sharing your piece of paradise and for being such amazing hosts!

My friend and I had a wonderful wintery break in the pods. Compact, clean, comfortable, and everything you need. Friendly responsive hosts. Just a couple of minutes' walk from the beautiful expanse of Pekapeka beach. The pods are in a small enclave of houses but it was very quiet, only noise at night was the sea and the frogs! We liked the eco-friendly touches and the herb garden, beds were very comfy, shower was hot with decent pressure. Thoroughly recommend and would love to return!

The two "pods" were well designed and well equipped. Vety comfortable to stay in. Great location and definitely only a 2 min walk to the beach. Awesome location for dogs and the hosts were very friendly and welcoming and great communicators.Would absolutely stay again.

Very nice place , great communication right throughout the stay. I had two medium sized dogs with me who were a bit stressed, the host was very accommodating and helpful. Great having the beautiful beach only a minutes walk away..

Peaceful Location

Great Location easy access to the beach. Great Breakfast. Enjoyed the different selections of teas. The outside lights were great and great option of having different brightness settings and timer settings. The only fault was not having block out blinds or drapes in the bedrooms - you had to get changed in bathroom. And most important to me was our dog enjoyed himself.Thanks for your hospitality.
