'We have stayed at the Marriott Durham City View before and we have really enjoyed our visit. We drive down from VA and love staying here when we go to the DPAC performances. This time we were asked if we arrived by car and would our car need to park in the hotels parking lot. When we said yes, we were charged and additional fee for parking. This is new from the last time we stayed here. I have never had a hotel charge me to park my car in their parking lot. We are considering finding...

'The hotel seemed quite new or well very well preserved. Great room with nice city view. Located close to the center with many options on bars, restaurants and shopping. Reception personnel was very friendly. It may get noisy occasionally due to the train rails and close by sport activities.'
