'Very happy with L’Escala and the area. The property is nice and private. The pool area is lovely, and the kitchen is fully equipped. We enjoyed our stay here. However, the house could need some touch up paint and the bathroom door handle and wardrobe door knobs kept falling off.'

'The house was clean and had all the requirements for a nice stay with our family. The garden provides a nice place for the childeren. The house is located nearly to the beach and the centre of L'Escala. A lot of nice locations and the bay of Roses nearby.'

'Our family, including adult children, had a lovely holiday enjoying the beaches and Costa Brava area. It was great to be able to walk to the safe and clean beach with crystal clear waters. The owners were helpful and accommodating. It's a fair drive to the nearest shop but with a well stocked kitchen and large fridge that wasn't an issue. Hope to return one day!'

'Fijn verblijf gehad in deze woning. Goede indeling van de kamers. Wat problemen gehad met de overburen, maar de eigenaren hebben het snel en goed opgelost voor ons. Fijn contact gehad met de eigenaren tijdens ons verblijf.'

'Sehr zu empfehlen. Lage ist super für Touren mit dem Rad oder zu Fuß. Girona ist nicht weit weg. Sehr großes Haus ruhig gelegen. Alles sehr gut.'

'Super fijn gehad. Mooi knus huiselijk verblijf. Niet groot, maar gezellig ingericht. Veel ruimte om het huis, groot terras om het gehele huis, veel plekken om het huis met een leuk zitje / bankje. Veel materialen om te spelen, bijvoorbeeld opnlaasbanden voor in het zwembad, een bal, ligbedden. In huis ook veel spullen: spelletjes, boeken, servies, broodrooster, haarfohn etc. Douche misschien wat verouderd, maar werkt prima, fijne straal en goed op temperatuur. Met de auto ben je binnen 15 min...

'Wonderfull holiday home on a private terrain. Great base to explore the region: coastal villages and beaches, Girona, Figueres with its Dali museum, Besalu, Banyoles,... all within 45 minutes by car. For peace and quiet in the typical Catalan surroundings you don't even have to leave the property: the swimming pool on the forested terrain is an absolute plus. Helen and Joan very available without any intrusion at all, even though they have their own house about 100m away. Ideal for a family...
