'We were a party of 6. What a welcome and we loved the rooms and friendliness. We had dinner at Butter which was excellent. Mark and Carol are fantastic hosts. I cannot recommend this b&b enough! Amazing breakfast included. Our evening was also perfect amazing dinner followed by a roaring outdoor fire next to the stream. Thanks for having us! Sarah & Tony with fam and friends'

'No Staff, everything is self-service. It's not really a Bed & Breakfast, it's more like renting a room without staff.'

'This hotel was wonderful!! The only issue we ran into was the fireplace in the King Suite is a real wood fireplace. No pokers or anything of that nature so I am unsure if you can even use it. Not too far from Jim Thorpe, and right around the corner from the outlets!'

'Fun'

'Staff was friendly and helpful and room was clean. I would go back and recommend for sure 👍'

'I love it'

'Stay was good and staff was awesome. My only issue was all the fruit flies in the bathroom. Being that I $195 for one night, was disappointed with the status of the bathroom.'

'Bit of a bait and switch. The rooms are very small. The fireplace is bring your own wood. And the fireplace isn't wide enough so it sets the fire alarm off. The shower is a tube. The wifi doesn't work on the property and I struggled to get data. The cable is connected to wifi so that doesn't work. The rooms are decorated with very odd paintings. Very easily could be the scene of a scary movie. The pond had a bunch of trash, a fountain that resemble my lawn sprinkler, and was very cheap looking...

'Everything was great'

'This was, I think, the creepiest place I've ever stayed. I do have to mention that the woman at the front desk was absolutely lovely--but she was the only good part of my stay. There were a couple of the tiny roaches in my shower both times I showered (I had to stay two nights). My door looked like it had been mangled in a knife fight. The hallway looked, no joke, very much like the hallway in The Shining. I felt safe enough, like physically, once I had locked the doors-- but it felt very dirty...

'Just convenient'

'Look, you get what you pay for... this place was not worth quite that. The room was OK (e.g., bed and chairs) but that was about it. The TV had 4 channels (only) that pixelated/froze every few seconds, The plumbing needs a lot of work, The room does not have "heating controls" - but rather just a knob that turns the (loud) heater on or off... The walls are thin enough that I could hear conversations from 2-3 rooms away... My overall review... Ouch.'
