'We had a fantastic stay at Cabanas Alechen. The property was clean, comfortable, well equipped and a lot more spacious than the listing photos. It felt very homely and we loved the cabin we were in. Alejandro and Eduardo were great hosts and nothing was too much. We also enjoyed the breakfast provided with homemade cakes and breads. We wished we stayed longer and look forward to coming back one day! '

'Destino Calafate was a pleasant surprise for the decent, economical pricing they had! The hotel room was spacious, we as a family of 4 had plenty of room with 3 beds in the room. There are a lot of storage space and shelf’s which made it convinient to store all our luggage’s. We initially only planned to stay 2 nights , however due to the comfort and convenience of this hotel and staff being so courteous and welcoming , we decided extend ti 4 nights instead of staying in el chalten. 'The rooms were very clean and comfortable. Breakfast was mediocre. At the check-in, the staff asked if we had any allergies or special needs but he didn't provide anything extra at the breakfast... Check-in was horrible. We couldn't pay with our credit card or we had to pay a 15% extra fee. After a discussing of 1 hour We had to pay in cash.'

'Ontbijt was gratis bij hotelkamer. Echter werden we in een apartement gestopt, vanwege tekort aan kamers...en toen moesten we het ontbijt 100 pesos = 7€ pp betalen. Dit hebben ze later teruggedraaid.. Kamers zijn groot maar erg jaren 60/70'

'I stayed here for about a week, it was great. The staff was super friendly and helpfull. Comfortable bed and amazing views. It was quiet and relaxing and just a short walk from the main street of el Calafate. Would definitely stay here again!'

"Very welcome from the start we came in at the reception. Nice excursion offert. The only thing that can be better is the service at the breakfast. A lot of things weren't filled. We saw the staff with 3 persons sitting and having their own food. When asked for what we missed, the faced looked bored and only stood up like a minute later. It wassen't that late during breakfast so is wasn't the end off breakfast yet. My advise would be to look constantly what is missing at the breakfast buffet so guests don't miss anything. "
