Abode at Black Bear #301 is a spacious 2 bed, 2.5 bath top-floor condo in Deer Valley’s Silver Lake Village that sleeps 8, features vaulted ceilings, mountain views, private hot tub, shared pool, and rustic charm. Just a short walk to the lifts, with great shared amenities. Can be rented with unit #302 to sleep up to 16.
The Space:
The log exterior of Black Bear Lodge is reminiscent of the grand old lodges of the American West, and is a favorite destination in Deer Valley Resort's Silver Lake Village. Only a short walk from the slopes, this extra large two bedroom, two and a half bathroom condo can sleep eight guests. * AND if you have a bigger group that wants to stay together, this condo can also be booked along with Black Bear #302 for a total of a spacious four bedrooms that can collectively sleep sixteen guests with loads of living space and an adjoining door. Situated in the enviable top floor corner location, Black Bear #301 boasts some of the best views in the lodge. Breathtaking vistas of Empire pass and beyond can be fully enjoyed from the private deck while soaking in your personal hot tub. In traditional mountain west style, vaulted ceilings and a large stone fireplace bring light and warmth to the spacious living area. Touches of the old west are remembered throughout in the way of decor and artifacts. Relax and sink into the big comfortable sofa and chairs and enjoy the meditative flames of the gas fireplace or a movie on the flat screen TV. The adjacent dining area can seat six with more room for three at the kitchen counter. On the other side of the dining area is another cozy conversation space where the adults of the group can enjoy a peaceful conversation and indulge in a glass of wine.
A large open kitchen is fully equipped and has room for a cook and helpers as well. You’ll find all the tools you need to keep the gang well fed. Next to the kitchen, a convenient washer, dryer, and detergent can be found in the closet.
Arguably one of the most unique details of this home is the log and twig staircase and banister, a delightful entryway to the master bedroom on the top floor. This lofty cozy room with its natural wood walls and ceiling, holds a king bed and a twin bed with a trundle. A glowing gas fireplace adds to the ambiance. Discover an intimate little deck just made for stargazing before turning in for the night. The roomy first floor bedroom has a welcoming log cabin feel and features another comfortable king bed and large en-suite bathroom with shower and tub. For additional sleeping space, the living room sofa has a queen pull out bed.

The Black Bear Lodge offers many guest services to enhance your stay, like an on site front desk and complimentary local shuttle**. The lodge is also on the Park City Transit route for additional easy access to Main Street, Park City Mountain and beyond. The outdoor pool and hot tub are open year round along with the gym for our guests' enjoyment. It's only a short two minute walk to the lifts from Black Bear Lodge and there’s no need to worry about hauling skis to and from the slopes every day. Deer Valley Resort conveniently offers complimentary day and overnight storage at the Silver Lake Lodge base area.
*One (1) underground garage parking spot is reserved for this unit. Please note, visitor parking is extremely limited in this area. We recommend only one car per reservation if possible please.

Great family trip

We had a fantastic stay!
We had a fantastic stay here for some spring break skiing. Communication was great from the moment we booked, and the unit was as described. It was a short easy walk to the slopes and conveniently located with shops and restaurants close by. There were plenty of board games the kids enjoyed and the furniture was particularly comfortable after a day of skiing. The decor is very unique and adds to the experience - we hope to come back again.

Wonderful stay in Deer Valley. Only issue was no air conditioning which they put a couple air conditioning units in and they helped but the top room where multiple people slept only had a fan. They did get us a few more fans which helped. Thank you for that! Everything else was wonderful would definitely stay there again. I would say that it definitely fits 8 people but doesn’t sleep 8 well. You can’t have 2 adults on the pullout so my son had to sleep on the couch. I would say it sleeps 6 well. Other than that, we miss it and hope to go back!!! Thanks again, wonderful trip!

wonderful time in Deer Valley

Excellent ski lodge condo
Beautiful property (exactly as shown and described) with all the amenities you need. Very short walk to the slopes. Superb communication with management. We would definitely stay here again and will recommend to friends.
