'As always, hospitality is defined by the people who provide it. The hotel staff was magnificent in this regard. From the breakfast servers to the front desk, everyone was kind, helpful and wore a smile. A special mention for the cleaning staff who did an excellent job every morning. Breakfast was delicious with options such as eggs Florentine and eggs Benedict, although as a continental European i would have liked to have seen some cheeses at the buffet. 'We stayed for 2 nights in a family room, our room was small for 4 people but had everything we needed. The sofa bed wasnt the best, however we asked for a 2nd duvet to put ontop of the mattress and they were bmvery obliging and helpful. The staff are very courteous and nothing was too much trouble. The room was spotlessly clean. The kids loved the sweets left for them. The filter coffee in the room was a really nice touch. 'Fabulous location for Sheffield Christmas market, shops and theatres. Exquisite building and decor. Friendly and helpful staff. Our room was so spacious, modern and had everything we might need - including fridge, kettle, ironing board, an huge bed and a wonderful shower. The breakfast was the best I’ve had for choice in a hotel (as a vegan) Would recommend the hotel to anyone and would definitely look to return. '
