« We enjoyed a nice long weekend. The house is conveniently located for skiing, bowling, and the iron mining museum. The kitchen is very spacious and I appreciated the extra items (condiments, kleenex, enough silverware) that aren't always available. »

« Was there for a quick weekend trip in the area. The host was friendly, the location was quiet, and the lake is beautiful. The host offers use of a Sauna if requested. The location is right next to an ATV/Snowmobile trail if this is something you are looking to do. The host lives on the property, but you likely will not notice them as they keep to themselves. Would stay again. »

Between both families including bride/groom, parents, siblings, grandparents, best man & maid of honor, we used each of the 9-bedrooms in this very well-equipped house. « My husband, our 2 children and myself stayed at the property as part of our spring break. This place is awesome! This has got to be the most luxurious cabin we have ever stayed in. The pool/hot tub area was wonderfully maintained and the pool was warm upon our arrival. Plenty of firewood was provided and we used the indoor fireplace daily. Ample cooking supplies were provided, even skewers for smores which I had forgotten. The grounds and lake were expansive and private. Mr. and Mrs. Hockaday...

« Nicely renovated, very clean and quiet. Enjoyed eating in nearby Marquette eateries Lagniappe's, Steinhaus & Sol Azteca. Steinhaus was pricey but you will not be disappointed. This was our first visit to the Upper Peninsula and the waterfalls were beautiful. We covered a lot of ground between the Porkies and Tahquamenon State Park. »

« We rented this cabin for our anniversary to relax and unwind. It was perfect. Very well appointed and had everything we might need. The view of the Michigamme River was just beautiful. It was cold and rainy on and off during our stay so we couldn’t enjoy sitting out on the deck or having a fire but we’re already looking at coming back next year during the warmer months. Even so, the large window at the front of the cabin allowed us to feel almost outside without being out in the cold and rain....

« Heather is a fabulous, responsive host and the location could not have been better for our stay during the Marji Gesick. The house is cozy, clean, and comfortable. Quiet neighborhood and within walking distance to a cute lakefront park. While the listing states there are 2 bedrooms, access to the second bedroom and the bathroom requires passing through the first bedroom, so it is not a truly private space, which is something to consider depending on who you are travelling with. »
