'Hidden gem. We were up in the mountains where it rained so decided to spend last night of our trip in cocoa Beach area. Rooms spotless host amazing and the best part as an animal lover was the rescue animals that are on the property. I have two myself. Will definitely be back.'

'This hotel had exactly what we needed, to acomodate 5 adults in two bedrooms, two queen and 1 twin beds, it didn’t include breakfast but, they offered delicious coffee toast with 3 different kinds of jam and fresh cut fruit. Very much appreciated.'

'Blanco Torro is a quaint little hotel. Ita not on the beach, but very close, a 3 minute walk. Each room has a little outdoor area with a couch and table and chairs. They provide a small and simple breakfast which was tasty. There was hot water in the washrooms. It was nice and quiet and didnt have much noise at all from downtown Coco'

'The hotel is in such a beautiful location, the staff at the restaurant and bar were absolutely wonderful, aswell as the front desk staff. Only thing I would point out is to make sure you bring your own water as there wasn’t water bottles or etc. Poolside bar is wonderful too!'

'The proximity of the property to Ocotal beach was great- just a short walk. The dome are accessed through a few or a number of short stair cases that are built into the hillside nestled in the trees making the bird watching on the loungers or in the soaker pool phenomenal. The rooms were comfortable making the best use of the space. The air conditioner worked very well to the point that we were chilly in the middle of the night- a first on a trip down south. 'The pool is not large but although the hotel was quite busy pool access was good. The grounds are kept beautiful and the staff are all very nice. One street back from the beach so no sea view, but could hear the waves and easily reach the beach. The villa we had was great even if the furnishings are a bit old.'

'Casa Chameleon is a beautifully planned and executed resort. The views are incredible from all areas of the property, as it sits at the top of the ridge that sets the south edge of Playa Danta, and the north edge of Playa Pan de Azucar. The main resort buildings have been situated on the top of the ridge, so the welcome plaza and restaurants/resort pool all look out from the peak elevation. As a result, be prepared for steps down to your villa and steps back up to get to the main facilities. ...

'We loved our stay! The pool was quiet and clean. The room was small but very comfortable Lots of great restaurants nearby, I highly recommend La Cabane just a short walk away, we had breakfast every morning at this cozy outdoor spot. We really enjoyed Lola’s and the weekend market on the corner'
