First off, the house and the location are great. House is in a great spot, convenient to everything. Plenty of room, bedrooms are great, kitchen is great. The outside porches and patios are perfect, and the pool, while small, is great for kids and rainy beach days.
The management company, on the other hand, left something to be desired. They give the appearance of being organized (there is even an app) and full service (via their concierge employees). But in our case they weren’t. I’ll try to be brief:
We showed up at our rental right on time. Exterior of the Property was a disaster. Trash on the ground everywhere. Outdoor furniture all out of place. Boxes from previous renters on the ground. Gloves from the cleaning crew on the tables. Pool was a disgusting dirty mess. Leaves and grass everywhere. The golf cart we rented through the management company was nowhere in sight.
We fixed all the patio furniture. A call to the management company got the trash picked up a couple hours later.
The pool and the golf cart wound up taking a day or two. They knew the pool was trashed prior to arrival, as the breaker for all the equipment was off. But they kept blaming it on the pool vendor not showing up.
They had NO info about our golf cart, kept telling me to call my vendor. Despite the fact that i had rented through them.
Pool was fixed 36 hours after our arrival.
Cart was located 36 after our arrival.
Company continually blamed vendors. Despite the fact that THEY were MY vendor. No credit or offer to make things right was ever offered.
So…house good. Management company…meh.
