Perfect location perfect unit

Serenity by the sea was a perfect place to stay for me and my family plenty of space plenty of amenities with the unit and everything to do at the condo made the vacation all around amazing the photos were exactly like what we showed up to and it was very clean will definitely be staying here again in the future!

Great location!

The location of the condo was wonderful. It is on the 3rd floor, so it was easy for us to take the stairs when there was a wait for the elevator. Its also on the same level as the gym, which was perfect for my teenage son. There is parking attached to the building, so no need to take an elevator, which was wonderful. The condo was clean and had everything we needed. Check in took a bit, but that isn't the fault of the condo host. The host was quick to respond to any questions we had. I would defiantly stay here again!

This place was great for our family we had seven in our group and there was plenty of room for sleep and activities. Everything was in working order and clean. Only thing I would tell others is the elevators do take awhile to catch we used the stairs a lot that said you can usually park on the floor of this unit and walk straight in without using the elevator big plus when loading and unloading. The wharf itself was nice staff, pools, and access to the beach made everything easy and relaxing. Location is great you are walking distance from Walmart and a lot of good restaurants. We would definitely stay here again.

Elevators

Our stay was great overall however, my husband is handicapped and the elevators available and wait times etc I’m sure have been complained about before. We either had to wait 20 minutes at times for an elevator or my husband that is a lower limb amputee with a prosthetic had to walk several flights of stairs to get anywhere. And we even tried elevators in the parking garages etc and still had to either wait very excessive amounts of time for or take stairs. Paying over $2500 for a place to stay i would expect to have decent access for handicapped to get up and down and not have to wait 20 minutes for an elevator. Unfortunately because of the elevator issue we will not be back. Everyone we ran into while there all had the same complaint. While adding elevators may be hard or not possible some of them weren’t even running while we were there on the north said one was out of service for over a day leaving just two elevators in that one section. I normally don’t complain but having small kids and someone that is handicapped it’s completely unacceptable.

Not at all what we were expecting

Trash & food in the halls, dirty floors in the condo, scent of marijuana surrounded us everyday. No security other than at the entrance gates. Will be returning to the Calypso or Hwy 30A from here on out.

Great experience

Great place to stay,makes you feel like home clean and welcoming. Also the area is great everything is nearby driving and walking distance. Might not be exactly on the beach but you have pretty nice view to the beach from the front door of the condo. Very short walking distance to the sandy beach!

Great stay!

Property exactly as advertised. Traveled with husband and 3 kids (ages 16, 14, and 5). Communication with property management was the best I've experienced and we use VRBO 3-4 times per year. Beautiful Vegas show from the balcony that is different every night. The whole family enjoyed that! We had a last minute change of plans and needed to check in a day early. They quickly responded and ensured the property was ready for us and it was! Thank you for accommodating our last minute need so professionally and quickly! Great layout of space for a larger family. Balcony larger than most. Everything worked properly, although we didn't cook at all during our 9 night stay. Loved the extra large shower! The staff at the gate could be testy at times, but that was really the only "bump" we encountered. Most of the staff were great! I strongly recommend this property and would return again!

Great Stay

Condo was clean and nice. Communication was good. Only minor complaints were the pillows, they were flat and very uncomfortable. Also unrelated to the listings owner the buildings elevators were slow and only had 4 functioning which was frustrating, but I assume this issue is at most places. Would book again, would just recommend bringing your own personal pillows for sleep.

Beautiful condo, fabulous location.

Amazing experience…the only things that we would change was the staff of Lakeside Wharf…we thought they were a bit rude and not very accommodating. But our VRBO staff and property managers were great! We were so lucky to be on the 3rd floor because the elevators we very crowded and had very long waits. We wished our ‘book’ in the condo was a little more up to date. We rented a pontoon for a day from Lagoon Pontoons, they were excellent and it was our favorite day! Overall, it was truly a fantastic vacation!

Excellent family vacation

Everything about this condo was great for our family. Perfect location, private walk out to the beach, across from pineapple Willies, pools were great with bars and music daily. The condo was comfortable with a lake view and music coming from the wharf below us nightly. Liked it so much we are thinking of buying a unit.

Great location in PCB

Thoroughly enjoyed our stay in Panama City Beach. Great location across the street from Willy’s & the beach with easy walking access. 3rd floor location made it super easy to take the stairs and not have to wait in line for the elevator. Parking garage with access directly to the 3rd floor made in/out parking easy. Very quiet & relaxing inside the unit with beautiful view of the lake from the balcony. Enjoyed live music from The Wharf from the balcony each evening. A great vacation spot!

Girls Spring Break!

My friend and I brought our three high school daughters for spring break... the condo was very clean and had plenty of room. It was obvious that it had been newly updated. We kept commenting on how we would decorate the same way (beach feel without 50 colored fish on the wall). A walk across the street to Walmart made it easy to stock up on groceries. Walk an even shorter distance the opposite way and you are on the beach (powdered sugar sand and emerald green waters)!! The resort had a guarded entrance, plenty of parking in the parking garage and was also obviously kept up to date (including palm tree trimming, deck sweeping and patio power washing all observed while we were there). We mostly used the beach, but pools were very nice. Several restaurants there as well that we didn’t use, but seemed nice. A few FYIs: Beach patrol is very serious about staying out of water on double red flag days (one day of our week) bc of rip tides. WiFi was too weak to accommodate zoom meeting but totally fine for regular “surfing”. Panama City Beach drivers have a thing for trucks with loud mufflers!!
