A mid-century home built in 1957, the home was designed noted local architect Donald Wexler and has been thoughtfully updated to blend its mid-century origins with today’s desert lifestyle. Centrally located in the Sunrise Park neighborhood, this home is a peaceful retreat away from the world’s cares yet offers easy access to shopping, dining and all that Palm Springs offers. Pull up into the circular driveway or tuck your car into the single-car carport and let your vacation begin.

An open concept living arrangement, the home opens into a short entryway with the well-stocked galley kitchen to the left and, to the right, the hallway leading to the home’s three bedrooms and two bathrooms. Continue in and step into the main living space including a the spacious dining area with bar cart opening to the large living room with plenty of seating for the entire company. Both dining and living rooms have wrap-around views of and sliding glass doors to the pool and side and back yards. Clean lines with just the right amount of color pops, the furnishings are classic modern mid-century for an media-worthy phone full of vacation photos. The living room has a large SmartTV with cable access and streaming capabilities.

Outside, a generous side yard holds a large green yard with open air pergola for semi-covered lounging or gathering near the gas BBQ. A sparkling lap-style pool runs the length of the back of the home with concrete block divisions that allow overflow from the generous spa to wash back and forth. The back patio offers full coverage, several seating and lounging areas and two inset fire pits. Visit during one of the multiple citrus blooming seasons in Palm Springs and you will be enraptured by the scent of orange and lemon trees poolside.

The master bedroom offers a king-size bed, en-suite bathroom with walk-in shower, SmartTV with cable and slider access to the pool and spa. The two guest bedrooms sit at the front of the home separated by their shared guest bathroom (with tub/shower combo). Both bathrooms are stocked with fine towels, hairdryers; all to get your stay off to a great start. One guest holds a king bed and TV; the other holds a queen bed.

Sunrise Park is a premier neighborhood of Palm Springs. The neighborhood is rich with architecture and history. It should be noted the city has sound ordinances that are strictly enforced. The owner(s) like to stress this home is ideal for a dream vacation and relaxation but is by no means a “party-central” home. Each guest is expected to be as good a neighbor as the owner(s) themselves. Special events like weddings are NOT allowed.

- Per City ordinance, we are required to have your ID on file. After booking, we will request an picture of the front of your ID.
- Per City ordinance, you must be 25 years of age or older to rent this home.
- Pool Heat is optional but available for $59/day; usually appropriate to heat the pool mid-October to late June. Some advertising platforms will have us add pool heat after booking. Feel free to confirm as necessary.
- Where pet(s) are accepted, this is dog(s) only and we cannot host any other kind of animals in our home.
