I take responsibility for not researching this home thoroughly enough. I focused on bedrooms for six guests and the pool and hot tub, but had I reviewed the kitchen and living areas more closely, I would have realized it was not a good fit.We were not provided check in instructions prior to arrival and had to contact the owner once we arrived. We were able to access the home because a door was unlocked.We paid to have the pool heated for arrival, but it was not ready. This was addressed after we followed up.During our stay, a pool maintenance worker entered the property without prior notice and was taking photos of the backyard, including our dogs. We were not informed in advance that anyone would be coming onto the property.The home did not have enough seating for six people to dine or sit together, and there was no outdoor dining table. We had to move chairs from other areas, including the garage.There were also maintenance issues. A kitchen drawer front came off, bathroom fixtures were loose, and the primary shower leaked, creating a slipping hazard.This was our annual family trip and a significant expense, and the home did not meet our needs.
