« Lack of privacy - the bedrooms have no doors - just curtains; the bedrooms and the bathroom share one open ceiling above them so everybody can hear and smell everything that goes on in the bathroom as well as the bedrooms. »

« Would have loved to have more time to stay at the property and enjoy the lake - it was beautiful! The house itself was fine - my friend described it as a giant shed. But there needs to be pillow protectors on the pillows - it sucks when you're a non-smoker, haven't brought your own pillows from home, put your head down late at night to finally go to sleep and get the stench of cigarette smoke. I don't believe anyone had been smoking inside but I do believe smokers had rented the property before...

« This cabin had everything we needed for a one-night pit stop up to Bar Harbor. We especially liked the rural location, the tea kettle, and stove for heat. We were able to sign into our Netflix and watch a thriller on a dark, rainy night, gathered in the living room area. We did not like that there were several large flies inside of the cabin. We killed a few that were bothering us, but even after that my nephew made a cup of tea at night and one of the flies flew into his tea cup! »

« The home was absolutely lovely!! Such a nice touch with fresh flowers . Very clean, comfortable linens and the little extras that a bathroom might need if a guest forgot some toiletries. Only wish we had more than one night in the home!! »

« We had a good Christmas there, it was very clean and comfortable. The problem we encountered is the bathroom that had a bath tub, the spout in the tub part just didn’t have any water pressure to it and didn’t work at all after a short while. Also the water pressure in the whole house was in poor condition and the hot water didn’t work at all. Other than that all the rest was a comfortable stay. »
