'A very well.appointed cottage in a brilliant location in the heart of Wooler. Everything was spotlessly clean and the beds were very comfortable. The owner was always very responsive when we had any queries. All the main attractions in Northumberland are easily accessible from Wooler so it's a brilliant place to stay to explore this beautiful county. I can highly recommend this lovely property.'

'WOW! What a brilliant little place!!! Tucked away on the edge of a pretty little market town, the facilities and attention to detail are flawless! This is the perfect place for a couples getaway! 'Some challanges to find the location, but it was re-designed and looked very well. on monday the kitchen is closed which is a point because in the villages isn't much to eat. Eating is maybe not the strongest point, the continental breakfast was underneath the quality we suspected. I don't know which continent they are refering to but it looked Africa. '

'Excellent staff, very clean room, nice bar with plenty of choice, breakfast was lovely, (i had the english breakfast), all for a bargain price in my view, would definitely stay again, in fact we already plan to stay here when were in the area again, if i had one small niggle it would be the quality of the rump steak i had in the evening, it was a very tough bit of meat, it wasnt the way it was cooked as it was exactly as I'd asked for, it was just quite tough and stringy'

'Good hotel, good location, although all the outside restaurants are a 15 minute walk away. Had dinner twice at the hotel restaurant, which was good. Parking is in a public parking place 5 minutes away; hotel guests pay half the normal price: 8 GBP a day. Nice and helpful staff. Room was not very large but OK although the airco caused an unpleasant draught and had to be switched off when I was in the room. My main gripe is the wifi connection in the room which runs (if it runs at all) at 0.16...

The house is beautifully restored and the room was superb good views over the countryside,, Jen was a superb host and made us feel welcome in her home.
