Blokhutten in Otari

'Amazing traditional Japanese style room. Dated but very clean and comfortable with ski run views! The Onsen was great after a day skiing. The dinner and breakfast was excellent and included in the price ….. not fine dining but wholesome and something for everyone. Would definitely recommend. '

'About a 5 minute walk from the main gondola at Tsugaike Kogen, and a 15 minute taxi ride from JR Hakuba station. Overall I would say the location is very good if you are looking for proximity to a ski resort without the late night hustle and bustle of Echoland/Happo One. Tsugaike Kogen is a very beginner friendly resort. Also closeby to the Hakuba Valley Shuttle (7 min walk). Restaurant selection in the area is decent! The public baths in this hotel are relatively quiet during off peak hours...

'The hotel is very near to the slope for the resort, less 2 mins of walking. Dry room is located in the basement level Restaurant is good for both breakfast and dinner with reasonable price. Supermarket is just right across the street The only down side is it can be a little bit noisy during the late night on the main street. '
