« We really enjoyed our stay at the cabin. It did rain a lot while we were there but the cabin is really cosy and a great place to chill. There is plenty to do in the area and it is incredibly beautiful, we did just spend time looking out of the window and when the sun came out we sat on the patio ... looking at the mountains. »

« Ideal for visiting lots of places, with a wonderful view straight from the cabin. I visited with my 93 year old aunt. She found the water heater over the bathroom sink a bit awkward to use, otherwise very well appointed and a great price. Geoffrey was really helpful and sorted out a couple of queries straight away. The toaster wasn't working when we arrived, I let him know the next morning and he brought a brand new replacement to the cabin for us the same afternoon. My aunty is looking forward...

« Rob was incredibly friendly and enthusiastic when we arrived, giving us a great tour of the yurt and (substantial) surrounding land. The yurt itself was really cosy and the 4 of us (plus dog) slept really soundly there, and really enjoyed being surrounded by the trees - the evening spent talking around the fire-pit was a holiday highlight. The biggest surprise was the incredible views down the estuary - just a 10 minute walk up the hill and bridleway. »

« La zona es muy tranquila y bonita. La casa esta en muy buenas condiciones y la calefaccion va genial. Quiza deberian revisar un poco el menaje, pero es cierto que dejan todo lo necesario para limpiar. El trato es via mobil o e.mail, pero eficiente. A mas dejan detalles para la llegada y se agradece mucho. Repetiriamos sin problemas. »

« Enjoyed our short stay at the property, the only little niggle was the noise from the boiler every now and again throughout the night and during the day - it sounded like fireworks were exploding in the distance each time the boiler heated up. Otherwise everything was fine. Thanks »

« We got put into a different property than the one in the pictures however it was a lovely spacious place to stay. It had a balcony with a roof so we could sit out even in the rain. It had an inflatable hot tub which was different to the one in the pictures as the one in the pictures was a normal hot tub however this wasn’t an issue. The hot tub was warm upon arrival but did seem like it needed a new filter and a refill. The tv worked but the remote was broken so we had to turn it on manually the...

« The location and area are absolutely stunning. On arrival however there was no water or electricity, this was sorted quickly though. The cabin could have been cleaner and for colder nights could benefit from more heating. As above though the scenery and views are incredible. »

« We had a really fantastic night at the Shepherds Hut! Its a truly stunning setting and very well appointed little hut, the gas fire is great and the underfloor heating gives some real comfort! A few improvements in regards to communication, location details and a welcome book with instructions for the fire, local information etc would really raise this to the PERFECT destination! Can imagine this place would be amazing in the summer with the Alpacas and Peacocks walking around the paddock in...

« We booked this stay as we had a nearby excursion and the location was perfectly situated. We were very pleasantly surprised when we arrived, a hamper was left with bread, milk, butter ect. It was very thoughtful and was accompanied by a very information letter highlighting places worth visiting ect, all of which contributed to creating this weekend away as special as it was. The place itself is lovely, equipped with all you need & is great value for money. »
