'What an amazing corner of the world. Very remote, peaceful and quiet. The hiking was wonderful. The cabin had everything we needed once we had our kitchen stocked with food. My only advice is that it would be nice to know before arrival that the nearest grocery store is 90 minutes away. We could have shopped ahead of time and saved a 3 hour round trip to Oban. Thank you Allan for a clean modern cabin for 9 days.....'

'This is a fabulous cabin with a beautiful tranquil view over Loch Awe. Lovely and quiet.The ducks and geese were very entertaining! Hot tub is a great experience, takes a wee bit of tweaking to get the fire right if you are a total novice like me. Instructions given are very good. Loved the barbeque hut with its 'viking' feel. Would definitely rent this cabin again. Thank you !'

'My party stayed at the other side of Loch Awe a couple of years ago and were keen to return to the area. Decided on Dalavich after driving past the village previously. The cabin is in a great location with amazing views. Not too far from the loch. The cabin was clean and functional. Great size for the 4 of us. 'We enjoyed our stay a lot. The house is nice and comfortable, the hotpot super. The location is very beautyfull - when you love calm and nature. Not easy without a car, the next smal shop is a 0.5 h drive away.'

'Lovely setting , Rowan Cafe was lovely and the staff were great. There is no food currently been served in the grill bar which is a shame but the bar was lovely was cosy. We had a few issues with the cabin but nothing to spoil our holiday.'
