'First impressions as we parked beside their house was of disorder and we became abit unsure as to what we had booked.The unit was cold but neat and tidy.It could have benefited from a floor rug over the cold flooring., and a proper door mat at the entrance rather than a bath mat.A set of steps on to the decking as well would be a good investment.'

'We had a wonderful stay! The location was perfect. Rooms were clean, comfy and had all the amenities we needed. I highly recommend it and would definitely book this place again in the future if in there area again.'

'The cottage and surroundings felt like you were at a resort, not in the middle of the city. Cute little deck to have your morning coffee on. We had everything we needed in a rental. However, the decor and room overall were a bit dated, and the bed was too soft for us. The location was very convenient with cafes, restaurants and a grocery within walking distance. Staff were very nice, and check-in was easy.'

'What a wonderful little cottage to spend some time in. Everything was beautifully presented in a lovingly designed space, you can tell they have put a lot of thought into this place. Booking, communication and check in was fast and friendly. Location is perfect, with a stunning outlook to the North and the lighthouse walks very close by. The local pub is down the road if you don't feel like cooking. We wished we could have stayed longer, but we will be back! Thank you so much.'

'An amazing place, well worth the money. I spent 3 weeks here doing astro photography. The view, the garden and the surroundings are nice, with Sumner and Chch easily accessible. Hamish and Ronene are friendly and excellent hosts.'
