We visited Rockport, Camden, Rockland, Lincolnville, Belfast and Union. All easy drives from this location. Be sure to check out Mt. Battie, Breakwater Light and Heron schooner'

'We were very happy with all aspects of our visit to this lovely cottage. It’s located right on Blue Hill Bay; there was plenty of room for the two of us; it was quiet and peaceful and the hosts Carol and Leslie were great. They responded immediately to any question or issue that we had. We’ve been renting properties in the Blue Hill area for over 30 years, and this was definitely one of the best.'

'We had such a wonderful stay at this cozy lakefront home. It was the perfect size for just the two of us—small, but comfortable and just what we needed. Everything was very clean and well-kept, and the owner was excellent with communication, making everything simple and stress-free. Our favorite part was spending time on the deck looking right out over the lake, enjoying the peaceful views and watching the three loons that hung around nearby. Such a special and relaxing spot.'

'What a wonderful spot in the heart of Camden Maine! It is perfect for a couple or small family. Beautiful decor and comfortable mattress. The owner is extremely dog friendly, as is the neighborhood, with an amazing no-leash beach in a beautiful spot on the bay (great place to watch the sunrise) a short walk from the cottage. We want to come back!'

'We very much enjoyed this well-located and appointed cottage and appreciated the responsiveness of the owner to a request for grilling materials and the Guest Contact for her responsiveness. Two minor concerns: a stove with oven would have expanded our food prep options, and finding the address on GPS was impossible - only after calling her did Contact email a special map to show us how to get to the cottage. '

'Pat's Place was an ideal location for our vacation in Maine. It's located on a beautiful private cove. The house was extraordinarily clean and the owners were so responsive. Local restaurants and cafes in Stonington were wonderful. Distance to Acadia is just over an hour. We highly recommend Pat's Place, a place that feels like your family camp.'

'This cabin was exactly what we were looking for. There was more than enough space for our family of three, and room for a few more if needed. The pond was great for swimming and taking out the canoe. The house was well appointed and lovingly maintained with just the necessities needed for our week long stay. The location was in close proximity to Camden (10-15 minute drive), and a lot of other must see destinations in Maine (Acadia, Bar Harbor, etc) are within 60-90 minutes. There was a sailing...

'The Moonlight Cottage, situated on a working harbor with an amazing view of Southern Island and the Gulf of Maine, is the quintessential Maine cottage. The kitchen is quite well equipped, there is easy access to the water for kayaking (rentals from Port Clyde Kayaks) and the cottage location, in Tenants Harbor, allows easy access to hiking and fantastic restaurants in nearby Rockland, Rockport and Camden.'

"Honestly, we really wanted to give a 5 star review, just because Marc was such a great host. But all in all our experience was a bit disappointing - considering what we paid. We had booked a cottage but it was actually a room in a cottage with several other rooms in it. The room itself did not offer the right value for money. It was clean and the bed was great, but everything else felt and looked tired and worn. The curtains looked like they hadn't been replaced since the 90s. There was no microwave or fridge in the room. There was a coffee maker but no condiments to go with it. Camden is a charming place to stay and the High Tide Inn is right on the ocean shore, which probably explains the rates. But if Marc wants to make this place work, he needs to do some work on the place. "
