'My wife and I had a delightful time at the historic Waldo Emerson Inn. The back half was built in 1753 and the front half in the 1780, yet this historic home had all the conveniences of the modern world: snug windows, heated bathroom floor, and easy to control heatng. 'Don't be mistaken by first impressions as you drive up to this property. I'd like to call it a diamond in the rough. The host/owner, Bob will admit the property needs substantial renovations to the exterior but don't be misled. The property has it's charm and the location cannot be beat for the price. Park your car and forget it. Everything is within easy walking distance. This is our second time for this property and will definitely try to stay again next year. '

'Perfecte uitvalsbasis om York en omgeving te ontdekken. We voelden ons gelijk op ons gemak bij aankomst. De kamer en badkamer zijn heel schoon. Ontbijten kan bij mooi weer buiten.De wandeling naar het strand duurt ruim 10 minuten en is goed te doen. Op 5 minuten lopen zit een leuk restaurant waar je lekker kan eten.'
