« When we pulled up to Shady Rest we thought, "okay.." But when we got inside, we were blown away, because for the price of a hotel room we had an entire house! John, the owner, greeted us and we got to know each other a little bit He was friendly and made sure we lacked nothing. John even offered us plums and/or apples from his fruit trees. « Fantastic space and location. Super easy convenient access to downtown, campus and Kettlehouse. Great space for our family of four (2 adults and 2 teens). The beds were super comfy, the open kitchen/living space was perfect for everyone being together in the evening, having 2 full bathrooms was really nice, the foosball room was a fun distraction, and the back yard w/patio was superb for morning coffee and reading. "Hôtel confortable avec une grande chambre bien équipée. climatisation peu bruyante pour les USA et très bonne connection WIFI. Piscine sympa. Seule la salle de bain est pas terrible (mais propre) comme dans tous les hôtels et motels de notre road trip de 3 semaines. Déjeuner de bonne qualité."
