Weeekend getaway

Fantastic location to hangout at either the beach or overlooking the bay. We enjoyed the easy walk to beach. Also enjoyed being so close to Newports shopping and restaurants. Ideal weekend getaway!

Everything you could ask for, and more!

My first Holiday in SoCal without being in our family with my boys. It was perfect! Everything thing I needed to cook their favorite comfort foods. Cousins stopped by we ate, relaxed and enjoyed our time together. The host are amazing, helpful and so welcoming! I will definitely be back!

Perfect beach getaway

This property is amazing. It had everything we needed to enjoy our family trip to the beach down to towels, a wagon, chairs, and beach toys. The house is immaculate and furnished beautifully inside, you can really tell the property is well cared for. The owners were very quick to respond to any questions we had and upon check-in, they also left a great list of any recommendations that are needed for your trip. The beds were all very comfortable, which can be hard to find in a rental so we were pleasantly surprised. We will most definitely be back again!

Superbly managed place in a great location

All the thoughtful details for easy and convenient enjoyment are there. We had kids going to Disney and adults trying to avoid Disney. The deck is kept clean which is rare to see in an outdoor setting. The duffy boat is fun and easy to arrange for dockside delivery. This unit is above another rental unit managed by the same company/person so you can hear others moving around (as I assume they can hear us). This neighborhood is quiet and easily walkable to many parks, beach, pier, restaurants, etc.

Family visit

Excellent stay. The place is very thoughtfully prepared for guests. All the extra items that we needed but forgot bring or things we didn't even think to bring, from air freshener to ear plugs to plenty of toilet paper were provide. Also, all the amenities such as fireplaces and grill were in excellent condition as were chairs, beach towels, etc. Especially appreciated the written instructions on or near all the important items. Enjoyed meeting the host, Kurt, as well.

Beautiful home with attention to detail

We had a lovely stay here during Thanksgiving week. The hosts ensured you want for nothing: champagne in the fridge upon arrival, face wipes for makeup removal, and other amenities. Hosts were very attentive to our questions. Great place to stay.

Perfect place

Great location on the canal and a short walk to the beach. This was our 2nd stay here! Fantastic deck with great shade during hot part of the day and great sofa and fire table for when cooler. Well stocked in kitchen and bathrooms. Didn’t have to buy anything but our own food, which is rare for rentals. Spices, oils, paper products, etc all there. Garage is tiny but functional. Owner is great and super responsive.

Our stay on Balboa Peninsula

Can’t say enough about this beautiful house and our hosts Kirk & Tami. The house was spotless with an incredible attention to detail. Kirk had every closet and drawer subtly labeled with the contents. The location was great with a short walk to Pavillions grocery store as well as a very short walk to the beach. The beach was beautiful and although we were there in October still a nice amount of people enjoying the sun and water. We rented the Duffy boat right from Kirk which was docked at the house. It was a fantastic way to explore the island and harbor and was one of the highlights of our stay. I would for sure stay here again and would highly recommend this property

The place was everything my family and I needed. It started with the seamless checkin process, the property is super clean, the location is near the ocean, restaurants, and bars. And our kids really loved the additional beach supplies that were provided by owners. We highly recommend this location!

Great Experience

Excellent place to stay - highly recommend and we will be back. We loved the location on the water, close walk to the beach, and close to restaurants and grocery store. The house itself was superb in all aspects: the house was immaculately clean, the beds were comfy, quiet area, air conditioner was a huge bonus, the deck overlooking the water with firepit was fabulous, and at every stage when we thought about needing something, there it was! Fully stocked, including many beach items, kitchen supplies, laundry supplies, coolers, tote bags, everything. Kirk greeted us onsite during check-in and has thought of everything to make this a home away from home. Thanks!!

This property was everything it claimed to be. It was super clean, beautifully decorated, comfortable beds, kid friendly and such a beautiful view from the back deck. We really enjoyed our stay and think it was worth every penny. We will absolutely stay here again!

Great vacation! Easy walk to beach and playground area. Highly encourage renting the Duffey boat and cruising the Bay for a day. Kirk was great to deal with and made it easy. Ideal for two families (one to rent second floor) and one family rent first floor.

Great Location & wonderful view! Well stocked with supplies and extremely comfortable!

The location was great! Fit our needs well... beach/ocean play, more quiet neighborhood feel with the canal view, close proximity to Disneyland and convenient shopping areas nearby. The host stocked everything we could possibly need for cooking. Appreciated the labeled cabinets and drawers, it made it so easy to find everything. Loved having access to the beach supplies. The bodyboards were a BIG HIT with my kids (ages 12-19)! Tami & Kirk are hosts that go above and beyond! They blessed us with a welcome gift of champagne (which we enjoyed by the fire table on the deck, great night time ambiance). Their beds were the most comfortable house rental beds I've ever slept on. It also helps that the they provided the softest sheets to sleep in! The only negative that I have is completely out of their control, it's just the location they're in. There was major humidity in the air, which made things on the deck and in the house (if you left windows open) a little damp. The humidity is not a deal breaker at all though. They did such a great job making their home so comfortable. I would definitely stay here again!
