« Very convenient location for hiking in Linville Gorge. Spent most of the time out hiking and just used as a place to sleep and it served us well. »

« What a great getaway!! This was the perfect size for our party of 3 and dog. Cozy and well equipped. There were even some Christmas decorations which made it feel more homey :) We cooked every day and the kitchen had everything we needed. It was clean and beds were comfy! Upon arrival it had snowed and the pipes were frozen. Kim, the host, was promptly responsive and talked us through unfreezing. Would absolutely come back!! Thank you Kim! »

« This is a cute little chalet. It slept the four of us just fine. Just a couple of issues, baby mothes throughout, back burner is burnt out on stove, light bulb was burned out upstairs, and overall the decor feels dated except for the new sofa. Also, outdoor chairs were dirty and filled with spider webs. »

« Ms. Pat was so wonderful and even left us a few goodies in the frig! The cabin was beautiful with its display of her husband’s artwork; he is very talented. We loved seeing the animals and a woodpecker even visited. Great little vacation! »

« My family and I booked this cabin for our snow tubing trip in March, 2026. The cabin is in such a pleasant area. Its close to everything but yet completely tucked away in the mountains. The cabin was clean, and cozy. We enjoyed the fire pit and the outdoor hanging lights which lights up the outdoor area beautifully. The kitchen was fully stocked with all the pots, pans, utensils, and coffee pots. (regular pot and k-cup option) There were plenty of towels and washclothes provided for our trip. My...
