A Waterfront Cottage de charme avec une touche d'élégance

Un chalet agréablement meublé, privé et géré, Beckoning Bay offre la sérénité de la nature, les activités nautiques, et à proximité accÚs aux charmes Midcoast Maine. Son mélange de sophistication décontractée et donne le ton pour le confort dans ce chalet sur trois acres donnant La Great Salt Bay, premiÚre zone de protection marine du Maine. Un point culminant de Beckoning Bay est son pied de 12x44 enfermé porche bord de l'eau. Vous choisissez de vous détendre et de regarder la nature intacte ou de vous rapprocher de l'eau dans les canoës et les kayaks fournis. Il est un cadre privé mais seulement un mile des villes jumelles de Damariscotta et Newcastle avec des restaurants, des boutiques et le théùtre (en direct et cinéma).

Our stay here was magical! Communication with David was a breeze from the start. Due to flight times from Florida, we arrived in the evening, but he was there to greet us with his warm smile & friendly demeanor. The cottage is ideal! You will think you stepped into a "Maine Cottages" magazine. It is well equipped, and was capable of hosting our "Lobstah Boil" with 20 guests, a live Jazz Saxophonist & a keyboard player! The views can't be beat. Want to kayak? Want to canoe? Conveniently located to restaurants, shopping, The Hannaford, and anything else your heart desires. David has you covered! We're already looking at dates to return!!

The property was perfect to stay and gather our family to celebrate our youngest’s high school graduation from nearby Lincoln Academy! The huge enclosed porch was amazing - with great water views! We only wished it didn’t rain so we could enjoy the fire pit! Will definitely be back!

Me and my father stayed for a long weekend and the cottage was fantastic. David gave us a great tour of the place and told us everything we needed to know. Amazing views out of the porch windows. We enjoyed watching the diver ducks. The cottage was very well stocked and so conveniently located near Rt. 1. Town is also less than 10 minutes away by car. Oysterhead pizza, Best Thai and Roundtop Ice cream were favorites during our visit. We hope to be back one day!

We stay at the cottage the last week of March and it was amazing! The location is close to the village centers of Newcastle and Demariscotta. The views from the sun porch is wonderful. The house was spotless and very comfortable. It was so quiet too! The best place I’ve ever stay at!

This property is so magical we almost want it to stay a secret! The sunrise views over the salt bay, the interiors, the whole energy of the place. I know the area very well but never would have known what this beautiful property had to offer from driving by all my life!David was a very welcoming host and easy to reach/helpul.House is immaculate and very well equipped with anything you could need. My friend and I are writers, and we came to this cottage to work on our books. It was the perfect location with the sunrise views over the water from the magnificent porch. The cottage was exceptionally clean, cozy, and beautiful. We had one small hiccup with the heat, but the manager, David, showed up immediately and the problem was rectified promptly. I loved it and we would absolutely stay there again.

Beckoning Bay cottage is a warm and welcoming place to relax and enjoy time with family. The cottage is clean and comfortable, and David, the host, is easy to communicate with and more than kind. The big porch is absolutely beautiful, and we spent a good deal of time watching the ducks and geese. There are many trails to choose from for walking nearby. We would not hesitate to book one of David’s properties again in the future.

We were having a delightful stay until we noticed that there was no heat but from the fire place. Unfortunately, we had to leave in the middle of our stay. Vrbo gave us a refund. I would stay there again. Lovely and sunny. Excellent Property Manager.

We have stayed in several places in Maine over the years and we finally have found our favorite. It has a great view over the water with a dock for kayaking and the wonderful large porch where we spent most of our time. The house is very well stocked and equipped, which made our stay so easy. Damariscotta is a great central location for visiting sights and our friends in the area and the house is close to this fun town but in a quiet spot. We are looking forward to our stay next year.

Our stay in Newcastle/Damariscotta was great. The property was pleasant, quiet and beautiful. The property manger, Dave, was helpful, pleasant and always available. Mid-coast Maine is beautiful and is a regular vacation spot in Maine. Nothing here to complain about. Would highly recommend theproperty and the area.

The cottage had all of the amenities of home and was styled beautifully. We loved sitting on the dock or by the firepit watching horseshoe crabs, eagles, kingfishers and sea birds. David was a wonderful host.

We had a beautiful weekend at Beckoning Bay Cottage...I was sold on the porch before we even arrived and it did not disappoint. Morning sun streaming through open windows...coffee with sunlight glistening off the bay. What's not to love? We enjoyed the kayaks and appreciated the warm welcome (complete with local ice cream recommendation-- Round Top-- currently celebrating their 100th anniversary -- the number of flavor choices was incredible-- not to be missed!!) and thoughtful welcome basket that made for a yummy breakfast. The kitchen was well-appointed (though we couldn't find the coffee grinder, ground coffee was thoughtfully provided, along with a Keurig option) I loved that the bedrooms opened to the porch. We enjoyed playing games on the porch, reading on the dock, and a day trip on our way out of town to the Midcoast Maine Botanical Gardens. Fabulous! If I have any complaint at all it would be about the comfort of the pullout single bed on the porch. My 27 year old son started there but ended up sleeping on the couch inside for comfort. Two nights was not nearly long enough!
