The stay that wasn’t

Booked this place for 5 nights to celebrate my and my best friend’s 60th birthdays. We were so excited! Booked online (even took our credit card and gave us a confirmation) and we were all set… until the next day when we were informed it was a 7 night only booking…. They gave us lots of “comparable” options… LOL. Nothing compared. So we went on another booking site and found the perfect place for 5 nights. Bye VRBO!!!!!!!

Wonderful Condo

The condo and grounds are very nice. If you bring your dog you have to walk it out on sidewalk by a busy road. Would be nice if they had a more convenient area for them.

Beautiful Condo!

This place is really amazing. It is in a perfect location. It is beautifully decorated, clean, and well-stocked to meet your needs. It was great to have beach chairs and towels provided. We enjoyed Flagler Avenue and even saw a rocket launch from the beach. Gorgeous beach and fun waves and even sea turtle tracks. We loved everything about the place!!

Lovely Condo

Beautifully furnished and very comfortable. Great location. We very much enjoyed our week here. We were able to bring our dog, even to most of the great restaurants in the area, since most have outdoor seating. If we come back to New Smyrna in the future, we would definitely want to rent this condo again.

really beautiful condo

Overall, the condo is gorgeous and my sister and I really enjoyed our stay. The interior furniture is very comfortable and the bedrooms, kitchen and baths were nicely stocked. Wifi worked very well. The balcony furniture looks nice, but is not comfortable to sit on. The wood chairs could use cushions, or swap them out for something more comfortable or softer where a cushion is not required. I understand about the damage the salt air causes, so I realize this is not such an easy issue to solve. Because of the strong salt air you are forbidden to keep the doors or windows open (this is true for all NSB condos I’ve stayed in, not just this one) which is sad because you can’t enjoy the ocean breeze or the sound of the waves unless you’re outside. The instructions for operating the TVs were very vague and we couldn’t figure out how to watch normal channels like ABC, NBC, CNN. However, all the streaming channels are available, so you won’t have a problem if that’s your preference. I’ve sent feedback to Great Ocean Condos asking them to improve the instructions for the remote controls.

Fantastic condo

We have vacationed in New Smyrna at least 10 times and this was the best condo we have ever stayed in. The southwest corner unit provided beautiful views from sunrise to sunset. The unit has been completely remodeled with beautiful furniture, fixtures and appliances and is stocked with everything in the kitchen and bathrooms. We will definitely be coming back.

A Perfect Vacation

My wife, son and I had a wonderful experience at NSB. It was our first time there and it was a perfect mix of relaxation, things to do and activity. The beach itself is awesome and perfect for long walks. The unit itself was absolutely perfect with great views! The owners definitely take great care of their condo and pay attention to all of the details that make a comfortable and great vacation - from comfortable beds, to quality utensils, to good beach chairs and toys. They are awesome and and super easy to work with, as well as very accessible if you need anything. The facility was also very easy as everything you need is right there - two great pools, a deck area for lounging at the beach, shuffleboard, etc. Also located across the street from one of the better restaurants in the area and a grocery store. Would definitely stay again and hope to soon! Thank you for a wonderful vacation.

The condo was in the best location in the project and beautiful inside and out. The view is the best and close to shopping, pools were amazing. Lots of chairs for all. The owner even has chairs and umbrella for beach sitting so we did not need to take those items from Michigan.

Wonderful beach and ocean views

Just returned from a wonderful week in this unit. Everything provided that you could possibly need. Enjoyed dining at several local restaurants. We used the beach chairs provided everyday while enjoying the sun and sand. Our 2 grandchildren were able to visit for a few days and were able to view the rocket launch from Cape Canaveral from the front balcony. Brent is attentive to any needs. Hope to visit again next year!

Clean, comfortable and beautifully decorated. The views of the beach and ocean are the best!

My husband and I and our dog Kaiya enjoyed everyday of our vacation. The condo is just perfect and so comfortable. We loved the recliners. The condo was left extremely clean and well stocked. Coffee every morning on the balcony,relaxing on the beach, comfy beds at bedtime made a perfect vacation. If you have a pet the New Smyrna Dune Park is awesome. We are looking forward to our next visit.

Corner unit is the way to go!

Enjoyed this clean and updated condo. Bed & furniture VERY comfy! View was the Best! Location was fantastic! Owner, Brent was very attentive. This corner unit is ideal with the extra light and view down the beach from the side windows and balcony.

Just what we wanted

Beautiful condo with a fantastic view. The beach and the pool suited all our family members – some liked to walk the beach, others simply enjoyed relaxing/playing in the sun in the pool or on the beach. We truly enjoyed area restaurants (Touch of Italy, The Baker’s Table, Norwood's Eatery & Treehouse Bar…) and found several nice, local grocery stores. The drive to the Kennedy Space Center was easy and it was a great addition to our Florida visit. The condo owner was easy to work with and very responsive. We hope to return to New Smyrna Beach in the future.

Awesome - views worth millions!

Our stay here was fantastic. You know the old saying - “location, location, location”... well it doesn’t get any better than this! Twenty feet from the beach and the balcony from the 2nd floor provides views all up and down the awesome beach at New Smyrna. This is on the non-driving end so it is peaceful and not interrupted by cars constantly cruising past. Spent many hours on the balcony, especially in the early afternoon while shaded and enjoying the ocean breeze. Ton’s of beach toys and chairs are provided in the owner’s locker - very nice! Brent was fantastic to work with, and he is updating the unit as I type this review - so it will be even better next time. The unit is located directly across the street from two great restaurants (Bakers Table and C’s Waffles) and just a couple of miles from Flagler Ave. Already looking forward to our next stay!
