« We enjoyed staying at Peaceful Songbird Cottage, which was super clean and well stocked. We appreciated the ability to use the spaces indoors and out! We stayed long term and found all we needed to cook daily breakfasts and dinners. We had a truck, 14 foot trailer and a motorcycle, with plenty of parking for all. We were able to walk from the cottage to Canyon Lake Dam, spotting deer along the way, which was perfect. Canyon Lake was a good central location to explore Hill Country. The hosts were...

« Overall a decent place to stay. There are a number of things that are not necessarily deal breakers but I would have liked to have known beforehand. The biggest one for me is that the cabin, and more importantly the firepit and hammock, are about 20 feet from the road. It is a quiet road, though, without much traffic. They do provide some firewood to use if there's not a burn ban on.There were a number of dirty spots on the sink, cabinets, and toilet lid that were easily cleanable, not stains,...
