'Air conditioning was not working. But luckily it cooled down enough at night to make it bearable. The room and the balcony were great as was the staff. '

'The rooms were clean and was appropriately stocked with amenities. The fridge wasn't working and I told the front desk before we left and they waived our parking fee. The staff were helpful and kept a package for me that was sent there a few days before. The Batch Brewing Co and Folk brunch cafe were all walking distance which is a plus if you're looking for good eats around the corner. I would stay here again when visiting Detroit.'

'Great hotel to stay at! We had an event at the DAC which was walking distance. All the staff at the hotel were wonderful! A cool, art deco vibe in the place. Rooms are tight. Hallways are dark. Both are part of the boutique vibe. The café in the lobby is great choice to pick up a coffee and light breakfast. We took our coffee outside to the relaxing garden with rod iron tables and chairs and enjoy the city in the morning. The Candy Bar is small, but very cool place to go for a drink!'

'It’s an amazing building from yesteryears exceptionally restored and updated. The staff is warm and friendly and it is located in walking distance of everything right next door to a Detroit people mover station. Highly recommend'

'The room I got was a Jacuzzi room. The Jacuzzi did not work. The staff member did get me another room, thankfully. The staff were all very nice. That was the thing I like the most. it’s very outdated. The paint was peeling the vents over the hot tub did not work. When we turn the hot tub on the lights would dim. The water after filled was not hot not even warm at the end. I think if they updated a little bit, make sure everything was in working order. This would be a good place. I most likely...

'Beautiful property but there wasn’t extra toilet paper and Kleenex in the room and the bathroom shelf wasn’t secure. It was also pretty warm and we didn’t have individual control of our room temp. A mini fridge would have gone a long way. There was also no tea in the lobby. I would stay there again in the spring or fall. '
