'Air conditioning was not working. But luckily it cooled down enough at night to make it bearable. The room and the balcony were great as was the staff. '

'Staff is very friendly, environment is clean and high class, it’s in walking distance of all things downtown and overall a comfortable stay. Only downfall is no breakfast, BUT, they do have an amazing cocktail bar called “Candy Bar” and their cocktail specialties are unique and packed with flavor. Baristas at front of lobby are also kind, and lattes are spot on.'

'Older hotel but the service was good. I appreciated the gate on overnight vehicles. This is a personal preference but I felt it was dark, also the room did not have any flooring. It appeared that they removed whatever was there and cleaned the cement. The comfort of the bed was okay. I probably won’t choose this hotel again but less pricier than others near by.'

'Beautiful property but there wasn’t extra toilet paper and Kleenex in the room and the bathroom shelf wasn’t secure. It was also pretty warm and we didn’t have individual control of our room temp. A mini fridge would have gone a long way. There was also no tea in the lobby. I would stay there again in the spring or fall. '

'Dont go here! This place is a SCAM. Homeless people all over the please threaten you at the door. Its gun-violent. The hosts at check-in desk dont really care. Leaving your bag they charge you $50,- , early check in also $50,-. But overall its dangerous place, not clean, not friendly, no customer service. Most of reviews on here have been bought. '

'It’s an amazing building from yesteryears exceptionally restored and updated. The staff is warm and friendly and it is located in walking distance of everything right next door to a Detroit people mover station. Highly recommend'

'The room I got was a Jacuzzi room. The Jacuzzi did not work. The staff member did get me another room, thankfully. The staff were all very nice. That was the thing I like the most. it’s very outdated. The paint was peeling the vents over the hot tub did not work. When we turn the hot tub on the lights would dim. The water after filled was not hot not even warm at the end. I think if they updated a little bit, make sure everything was in working order. This would be a good place. I most likely...

'Woke up at around 3:30 from the heat. The ac quit working and wouldn’t let us change it. Called front desk and the lady just mocked us and was rude, saying we didn’t know how to use it. Well it was actually broke. Then at 8 am we got evacuated from a fire alarm and we get all the way down stairs and a lady gets on the speaker laughing saying you don’t need to evacuate there is no fire. Then we go back up and as soon as we get back we get evacuated two more times. And we didn’t have power from...
