Booked this place due to how close it was to downtown and easy access to the highway. The neighborhood is going to be amazing in 5 years, but we didn’t feel comfortable letting our kids outside due to so many abandoned or under construction areas and squatters. Unfortunately, once the host, Chris, got my security down payment he was completely unresponsive to any of our needs during the trip. The main room had fleas (multiple bites until we deep cleaned the room and removed the carpet ourselves), top of the stairs had a loose board (huge safety concern since we had kids in the house), and the microwave was broken (wasted all of our quick breakfast food we’d purchased). Thankfully, the owner of the unit happened to swing by when we were arriving back to the house. Tim is a very nice man who helped get someone to contact me. Unfortunately, fleas were never addressed, stairs were still broken, and the microwave they had delivered didn’t come until 7pm the night before checkout. Needless to say, we won’t be returning.
