Many gnats coming from the next door unit, someone should do a health check it smells like something died over there. We had to hold our breath when we walked past it and there was a ton of dead gnats on the window sill. One of the closet doors fell off the hing, but it served great as a shade for the blinds that didn’t close all the way. The unit was not clean. We had to wash all the linens because they smelled bad and did not feel clean. We found a baby pacifier under the coffee table and the floor was sticky. We cleaned the unit because we couldn’t deal (you’re welcome). The shower head should be changed it works but not great. A couple of the light bulbs didn’t work but not a big deal. Neither hair dryer worked. Garbage disposal didn’t work and it kept backing up. Gross. All other items worked as expected but when we ran the microwave the exhaust fan smelled like the unit next door. It’s the second stay for us at sands the first time was a different unit last year and much cleaner. This time around it just wasn’t as clean overall. Lots of people smoking drugs (balcony time was not enjoyable) and the parking was horrible until we found out about the secondary parking lot. You guys should lead with that lot because it was clean well lit and much more room to park large vehicle. We had kids with us and the ad was misleading as we were not able to swim in the lazy river and only had beach access. the room was disappointing we won’t be going back.
