« A good, clean, well-maintained hotel. Kind and helpful staff who were professional. Room was clean and well maintained. Free car parking on-site. Good food and very substantial breakfast. »

« Très très calme »

« Friendly and helpful staff and excellent food in restaurant. Nice Lochside location. Great location for visiting the nearby Dumfries House a short drive away. »

« A one night stay on a B&B rate booked through Expedia, arriving late evening on what was a horrible weather night. Did not attend the bar but it appeared to be well stocked. Easy check-in which was open till 11pm and reception staff were very pleasant. Plenty of parking available with 2 disabled bays only. « It was nice stay and spacious cottage. Some stuff in kitchen was worn out and wasn’t good enough for four people. Beautiful cottage next to river. »

« Very nice and friendly hosts, very clean and spacious room for 4 people, toilet, shower. Excellent and varied breakfast. Highly recommended. thank you so much »

« What a lovely welcoming Hotel. Loved the ambience from the moment we walked in the door. Reception staff excellent. Our room was also very nice. We had dinner and this was so good. 5 stars all round. »

« Stayed here a few times over the years. We cannot fault it. Will definately stay again. »

« This was a good size accessible room. We used it for just a stop over doing a road trip. »

« Stunning x Had a wonderful overnight stay. Room was immaculate and such a comfy bef. Scottish breakfast in the morning hit the spot. Staff so firendly. Will be back as visit the area regularly for family. »
