Good day,
I am writing regarding my recent stay at your hotel throughout Expedia, located at 5905 Metropolitan Blvd. East, Montreal, Canada, H1P 1X3, from January 15th until the 17th.
During the first night, my daughter and I slept together in one of the beds, and everything was fine.
During the second night, I slept in the other bed with my 7 month old baby, and this is when the issue occurred.
Upon waking up, I noticed multiple grouped bites on my neck and left arm, consistent with insect bites. My baby has since developed redness on his body and a fever today, which is very concerning.
Neither my baby nor I had any skin issues prior to our stay.
Because of this situation, I have had to take immediate decontamination measures (washing clothing and belongings at high temperature, isolating items) and manage significant physical discomfort and concern for my child’s health.
I am formally requesting:
An immediate inspection of the room we occupied (257),
Written confirmation of the actions taken following this report,
And appropriate compensation, including reimbursement of the affected night and any related expenses.
Please understand that this is a serious health and safety concern, especially involving an infant. I look forward to your prompt response.
