You'll have 3 bedrooms (2 king beds, 1 queen), 2 bathrooms, room for up to 8, and the State Capitol just 3 minutes away.

Capitol Heights is a charming neighborhood located in the heart of Montgomery, Alabama. The neighborhood is home to a mix of historic homes and modern apartments, many of which have been beautifully restored to their original charm. From the leafy streets to the friendly residents, Capitol Heights offers a warm and inviting atmosphere that makes visitors feel right at home. With its close proximity to downtown Montgomery, residents and visitors alike can easily access the city's top attractions, such as the Alabama State Capitol, the Rosa Parks Museum, and the Dexter Avenue King Memorial Baptist Church, to name just a few. Whether you're in town for business or pleasure, Capitol Heights is the ideal place to stay and explore all that Montgomery has to offer.

Use the front or back yard or enjoy any space in the house. You may access any space inside other than the locked supply cabinets. Park along the curb on St. Charles Avenue, the side street. The front door is up three to five steps onto the front porch and has an electronic smart lock.

We love how this home mixes historic character with room to spread out, and we think you will too. You'll find restored architectural details, spacious rooms, and a blend of vintage and modern furnishings. The living room is big enough for the whole group to gather, and with TVs in multiple rooms, everyone can settle in however they like. Once you're up the front porch steps, the whole home is on one level. Heating, air conditioning, and ceiling fans keep every room comfortable, and Wifi is included.

BEDROOMS & BATHROOMS
We've set up three spacious bedrooms so everyone can get a good night's sleep. Bed linens and towels are provided, so you can arrive and unpack.

KITCHEN & DINING
You'll cook in our designer kitchen, with generous counter space, granite throughout, and stainless upgrades. It has a refrigerator, stove, oven, microwave, and dishwasher, plus cooking basics, dishes and silverware, and wine glasses for a toast at the end of the day. We keep coffee and a coffee maker ready for early starts. The dining table seats 6, so you can share meals together, and a high chair is there for little ones.

OUTDOORS
Our large front porch has comfortable seating and is our favorite spot for slow mornings with a cup of coffee. Behind the house, you'll have a private, fully fenced backyard with a small garden and a patio, a pleasant place to sit and unwind. It's a cozy garden rather than a large yard, and your four-legged family members are welcome to enjoy it with you.

LAUNDRY
A washer and dryer are right in the home, which makes longer stays easy. If you ever need one, there's also a laundromat nearby.

WHY CAPITOL HEIGHTS
You're in the middle of Montgomery. From our door, the Alabama State Capitol is about 3 minutes by car, Riverwalk Stadium about 4, and the Montgomery Zoo and Maxwell Air Force Base about 6 each. That makes it an easy home base for tournaments, graduations, base visits, and family trips downtown.

Driving or taking an Uber is the best way to get around Montgomery.

A few things to know before you book:

PRIMARY GUEST
The guest who books must be at least 25 years old and must stay at the home for the entire reservation. The primary guest is responsible for everyone in their group and any visitors.

RENTAL AGREEMENT
Every guest is required to sign a short rental agreement after booking. This is not optional: our property insurance requires a signed agreement for each stay, and our attorneys have advised the same. It covers house rules, check-in and check-out procedures, occupancy limits, and responsibility for damage. It takes about two minutes, and there is no app to download and no account or password to create. We send it after booking along with a brief check-in form, and your access details follow once both are complete.

HOUSE RULES
• Maximum 8 overnight guests
• Quiet hours 9 pm to 8 am
• No parties or events
• No smoking or vaping
• Pets welcome: up to 2 (dogs 60 lb or under; some breeds are restricted for insurance). $50 pet fee per stay covers all pets. Please add pets to your reservation.
• The fireplaces are not for use
• Please do not climb on the rock wall installation, and please do not enter the shed
• No commercial photography or filming without our written approval (see below)
• Please lock the front door each time you leave. It does not lock automatically

DURING YOUR STAY
Our cleaning, maintenance, and guest-support team works hard to make your stay great. Airbnb expects guests to be considerate and respectful of hosts and everyone they meet during a stay, and we ask the same toward our team, vendors, and neighbors. Concerns are always welcome. Verbal abuse, threats, or harassment of anyone on our team will be reported to Airbnb.

Please tell us about any damage as soon as it happens so we can sort it out fairly. Please keep total people on the property, including daytime visitors, within the guest limit. Please leave the exterior cameras and the indoor noise monitor connected and uncovered.

Commercial photography or filming is only allowed with our written approval before your stay. Approval requires a commercial general liability policy of at least $1,000,000 naming Dreamline Suites as an additional insured. All house rules, guest limits, and parking rules still apply.

GETTING IN & PARKING
Park along the curb on St. Charles Avenue, the side street beside the house. The front door is up three to five steps onto the front porch, where the smart lock is.

PETS
The $50 pet fee is a flat fee per stay and covers all pets. Please crate pets when they're left alone, keep them off beds and furniture, clean up after them, and keep them on a leash outdoors. Service animals are always welcome, with no fee.

GOOD TO KNOW
Behind the home is a small fenced private garden area, a pleasant spot to sit, though not a large yard. The outdoor walkways use repurposed materials and can be uneven or slick, so please watch your step. The locked supply cabinets inside are not for guest use.

EARLY CHECK-IN & LATE CHECKOUT
Available on request when the cleaning schedule allows. $20 per hour, one-hour minimum. Message us and we'll check with our cleaning team.

BEFORE CHECKOUT
Before you head out, please leave used dishes in the kitchen sink or dishwasher, gather used towels in the tub, put trash in the kitchen bin, take your food and belongings, and turn off the lights and A/C. Our cleaning team handles the rest.

LOCAL RULES
City of Montgomery Ordinance 29-2026 (short-term rentals):
• Maximum occupancy is 2 per bedroom plus 2 (8 at this home)
• Park only in designated spaces. No buses, RVs, or commercial vehicles
• Amplified music is allowed indoors only
• No weddings, receptions, parties, or events
• Trash bins must be kept out of public view except on collection day
The city fines the operator $250 for a first violation and $500 for each one after. If a guest's violation results in a city fine, we will request reimbursement through Airbnb's Resolution Center with the citation attached.

SECURITY & MONITORING
For the safety and security of our guests and the property, motion-activated cameras are installed on the exterior only. They record audio and video and monitor entrances and outdoor areas. No cameras monitor any indoor area. An indoor noise-monitoring device measures noise levels only. It does not record audio or video.
