The building is a bit dated but it was renovated so there are new and old components to the room. The room was clean and the bed was comfortable. The only curtain in the room was a heavy curtain that blocked out the light so anytime I wanted privacy it was very dark in the room. I wish that there was a lighter more transparent curtain for privacy like other hotels.

Got to room 112 and the inside of the window was cracked. So I went back to the front desk and mentioned it to the lady. She was agitated that I brought it up and said she didn’t want to argue about it. I get that widows aren’t cheap to replace but come on, wouldn’t it be nice to know so you could have it fixed? I asked for a different room and she gave us the room Nextdoor. Inside the room had fresh paint and newer furniture but the beds were old and uncomfortable. The sounds of the interstate could be heard all night and made for a rough night of sleep.

Room would have been ok except the hair dryer was burned out and there was only about 1/4 roll of toilet paper, No instructions on how to check out - brought key to the front but everything was locked and no key dropoff so went back to the room and left the in in there, Spent almost an hour on the phone with Expedia because even though my reservation was paid for - the hotel could not find the payment and insisted I pay again. Expedia had to refund my initial payment. After traveling for 12 hours - did not appreciate having to talk to Expedia for so long!

The room was very clean and was pet friendly for our big dog with no extra fees. The only downside is that it is next to an interstate so you have to hear that all night long, we just turned some white noise on and shut it out.

The price was good it had stained or mold in between tub and tile. The paint and flooring looked a little beat up. Had 4 big pillows unable to sleep with them, staff was friendly, and the price was good for sleeping for eight hours and leaving.

Exactly what we needed
After a marathon drive through several traffic back-ups and stops in Atlanta and Chattanooga, our room was a welcome respite. Everything in the area we needed was either booked or way overpriced. Our room was comfortable, clean, and provided everything we needed for a quick overnight trip. The property is older, but the rooms are fairly updated - modern bed frames, new floors.

A few things were not right in our room but it wasn’t bad enough to rate horribly or move to new room. I advised the guy the next morning and he said he would take care of concerns. I told him we would be back in future.
