'My daughter and I had a great time at the Shandaken. The property is perfect, the staff is even better. Such a great place! I can’t recommend it enough. We will be returning!'

'It's a beautiful area and beautiful place. We loved the trail to the orchard and brewery from the property. The manager was super nice, but after the first day, there was never any staff around, although they were reachable by text. Our cabin was very nice, but it needs better lighting. I wanted to read before going to bed, but the lighting by the loveseat was inadequate and the lights above the bed were way too bright, especially since my husband was trying to sleep. '

'Great location if you are spending a couple of days in the Kingston area. Charming house and decor. I loved that they deliver warm coffee and muffins in the morning. The room was decorated nicely and they even provided a record player with records.'

'Laureen was very hospitable. She accomodated us every step of the way. There were clean sheets, comforters, pillows and sets of towels arranged in the room. The bathroom was also clean and there was hot water. Laureen checked in on us to see how we slept and if our needs were met. She made a delicious hot breakfast consisting of blueberry pancakes and eggs how we like them served with tea, coffee or water. Lastly, the landlord/hostess, Laureen, always had positive vibes and friendly at all...
