« The house was the perfect place for a weekend getaway. It has all the amenities needed and just a quick drive to historic Vermillion, hiking and restaurants. We enjoyed our stay! »

« A well-appointed house on a canal in a rural area close ( a few minutes) to Port Clinton, with plenty of room for the four of us. Our stay was very short but would definitely choose it again. One point, one of the beds is a full-size mattress turned sideways so very wide but not suitable for adults unless you sleep "across" it. We were there to bird the famous Magee Marsh and Ottawa NWR, it was great for that and if you have a boat you can tie up right there. »

« This was a great place in a pretty good location. We were pleasantly surprised at the garage space, it worked well as a place to air out and dry our clothes after fishing in the rain. The house was very clean, bathrooms were very nice. The parking is a little bit tight, as we had 2 full size pickups, but it all worked out great. Thank you to the owner of this property. We will be back! »

« It was great! The listing on VRBO did not tell much of anything about it though. Had I known we were going to be right on the lake we'd have brought chairs and beach towels. It doesn't say anything about that or that it is a campground like setting. But we loved that it was quiet and secluded. The room was clean. The lock on the door is very hard to operate. The bathroom faucet is stiff and you feel like you're going to break it when adjusting temps but it works fine. »

« We were in town for a dog show in Oberlin. My 3 mini long haired dachshunds and I had a great stay. Very comfortable, nice park next door to walk the dogs and only 10 minutes from the dog show sight. »

« Brett and Jessica were fabulous hosts. They had great communication which made us feel at ease traveling across the country. We will definitely stay here again! »

« This location was perfect for my family. We took our two children 2 and 6 to lake erie for the first time. This house was a prefect place for us and allowed us to enjoy the beach and the town very easily. I would highly recommend! »

« Check- in was super easy and just as described by the host. The house was very clean and comfy! The kitchen was great, with everything we needed; appreciated the coffee pods and accoutrements. Some of us enjoyed some quiet conversation on the dock in the early evening while others put together puzzles on the coffee table. »

« The ease of arrival and getting into the house was great! The host was available via text at any time. The house is older but has been maintained well. It was perfect for what we needed. Check in and out instructions were very clear and easy to follow. It is less than 2 minutes to the beach, lighthouse, and downtown Port Clinton. I would recommend some "Porch Therapy" for everyone! »

« We enjoyed our stay! Beds were nice and comfortable. Location is great for restaurants and groceries. Also, near a beach and ferry boat to Islands. Would gladly stay again! »

« This house was fantastic to stay at, clean and cozy! »

« Worked well for 4 guys, 1 bed room has bunk beds, Had option for fold out beds, Were supposed to have 5 guys , Would have been tight but better cost wise. But only 1 full bath Rented and got charged the VRBO fee, didn't expect that along with the 1st charge, I should have paid attention to that, My first time rent from VRBO. But good overall. »

« 5 stars! Check in was a breeze, great communication with the host, Dave. Very clean and tidy. The kitchen was well provided with coffee, tea and a bonus of snacks on the counter! The Bedroom was very comfortable and there were plenty of towels and linens. The living room was charming, felt very welcoming. Also, I the back patio. It was great for morning coffee or evening beverages and conversation.The mural added to the overall charm of the place. Oh, and there is additional seating on the...
