'This is not your run-of-the-mill motel. The place is immaculate and the decor feels luxurious. The rooms feel more like a spare bedroom in a million dollar home with the lush carpet, crown moulding, arches, etc. Looks and smells fresh and clean throughout. Particularly noteworthy is the railroad/train motif with museum-like displays lining the hallways. A continental breakfast is usually predictably skimpy and boring, but this was the nicest I have seen with a nice selection of fresh fruit, hard...

'The room was spotless and the bed was very comfortable. The screened in patio that our cabin room had was perfect for sitting outside and enjoying the fall weather. All the staff that we encountered were extremely friendly and helpful. They even got us out of a jam when we needed a corkscrew for our wine. The drive into Herman was not an issue at all and we have already talked about wanting to come back.'
