Katahdin Comfort - A Beautiful Four Bedroom Home

Enjoy the comforts of a completely renovated house conveniently located in-town Millinocket. If coming to the Millinocket region for hiking Mount Katahdin, ATVing, snowmobiling, rafting the Penobscot, fishing, hunting, touring Baxter State Park or exploring the National Monument, you will enjoy our home. We have 4 BR, 2 BA, sleeps 10 with granite kitchen. Garage accessibility for your snowmobiles or ATV's. Parking for 4-5 vehicles. Direct access to ATV trail system and ITS-86 from the property.

The space

You will enjoy this modern and spacious home with many amenities and comforts. Granite kitchen with stainless appliances, leather reclining furniture, large smart TV in living room, smart TV in all bedrooms, five very comfortable beds, a heated porch and two car garage. Located in-town close to grocery store and restaurants. This is a non-smoking and no pets property.

House was very clean and spacious. Kitchen had everything needed to cook meals. Beds were very comfortable and showers were hot and had great water pressure. Loved how upstairs bedrooms could set their own room temperatures. Excellent to have garage access for sleds and trail access right from the backyard. Host was very responsive to any questions we had and keyless entry was easy to understand. Would definitely rent again if we ride this area again!!

I stayed here with a few friends to do some hiking and mountain biking in the area. It was perfect. Extremely clean and I have to believe this is one of the nicest places in Millinocket to stay. About 0.8 mile from downtown. We hope to stay again.

Amazing property

Everything at this property was excellent. Highly recommend. Well stocked kitchen, spices, condiments, etc. All beds and furniture were comfortable. You can tell the owners take pride in their home. Any questions were answered promptly. Wonderful stay.

Well furnished house

Very nice house - lots of crockery, glasses etc. Very comfortable. Excellent communication with host. Definitely a 5/5 overall. But note: probably less suitable for young children or elderly as there is no banister on the staircase (see photo). Like most vacation homes, the number of people that can be accommodated at bedtime is more than the number that can be accommodated at meal times.

Very Comfortable and Roomy

There was plenty of room for the six of us. The kitchen was easy to work in, the beds were comfortable and there was plenty of parking. It was nice to have two bathrooms and our families had all the privacy we needed. The host was very responsive to any questions or issues we had. The distance to Baxter State Park was convenient. We had a pleasant stay.

Lovely stay

Very Nice - beds were comfy, place was very clean, good location, great communication from owner - would stay here again without hesitation. A couple of quirks (like figuring out how to start the dishwasher, no blinds on kitchen window and a very short ceiling over the stairs) made it interesting.

Just What We Needed

I was providing logistical support for five Appalachian Trail thru-hikers, which included shuttling them to and from the trail. The house was a great place for them to R&R before and immediately after summiting Mt. Katahdin. Everything was nice, but I particularly appreciated the well-equipped kitchen.
