'Everything appeared as described, the kitchen fully equipped, hot water, A/C fully functional, clean and pet friendly. The only disappointment was the one of the two individual beds was broken and un-usable. Causing discomfort and bickering at night among my two teenage boys sharing single small bed.'

'super mooie locatie, direct aan het strand. Blij dat we een extra nachtje op de Keys hebben geboekt ipv een dagtrip. kamer is ruim en schoon. zwembad heerlijk. ligbedden/stoelen/hangmatten aan het strand. koffie/thee/fris en koekjes gratis te pakken. Ontbijt top! Personeel super vriendelijk.'

'Disappointing. We love Venture Out, arrived on Friday to trench on the right side of the unit. Saturday and Sunday was nice, enjoyed the porch overlooking canal. Monday workers showed up worked on trench, filled it in and starting digging on left side. Using an excavator, saws etc we could not sit outside. Hard to even have a conversation inside. This went on all week. They finished the trenching and paved on Thursday. Terrible!I notified host on Tuesday and she came over to apologize, very nice...

'Such a lovely house and property. The view of the ocean was right outside the back porch. The swimming pool was also great, shaded in the afternoon. There's even an outside shower by the pool to rinse off. I love that it's salt water, not chlorinated. The host was excellent and answered questions quickly. My only complaints are the bed in the 1st bedroom was not very comfortable and 2 outlets in the kitchen don't work. '

'Excellent location - clean, quiet, well-kept community. Boat launch was key for us. Pool and beach looked very nice, but we didn't use. The unit is as described and has a nice patio out back that we used every day.'

'This community is great, especially if you have kids that need a lot of activity to be entertained. The place itself was clean and had lots of towels and blankets which is nice. The kitchen has a nice set of utensils, pots and pans as well as dishes. Be sure to bring coffee pods, shampoo, conditioner and body wash. I would recommend bringing your own hair dryer that one is slow. We had a wonderful time and would go back. Last thing to not is the driveway is tiny and a rental car that is anything...

'The unit was very old and tired. As such, several windows did not open, the cook top light was not working, the shower surround was cracked and the joint caulking was bad to name some examples. However, the place was spotless when we arrived and with (needed) working AC. The kitchen is WELL appointed with cooking items, some spices, and baking supplies. The washer/dryer was a treat as we travel light. The waterfront deck/patio area was great for morning coffee and evening cocktails. Venture out...
