'I’ve been coming to Mendocino for 25 years — sometimes with kids, sometimes with my spouse, and sometimes on my own. This is the nicest place I’ve stayed at. I initially booked it for myself, but then my husband decided to join me. I was worried from the pictures that it might be too cramped for 2 people, but that was not at all the case. 'We were extremely happy with our stay at the Larkin Cottage. For starters, the location is perfect - just a quick 5 minute drive to the center of Mendocino. The cottage is so charming and inviting. You can tell that Linda puts care into it's upkeep and maintenance. And, how great to have a private deck, hot tub and yard right outside the back door. Linda went the extra mile and left us a lovely gift basket to help us celebrate our birthdays. This is now our "go to" place when we visit...

The local Elk grocery & mercantile store clerks were wonderful and full of ideas to fill our time. We took a trip to Mendocino and Fort Bragg along the beautiful coast. 'Stayed for a couple nights this summer with my teenage daughter and niece. The girls loved it. Looks just like the pictures. Kitchen was well stocked. Short drive to downtown, beaches and trails. There were no window coverings in the main living space which I thought was weird at first but then we watched the evening light come through the trees. Beautiful. It’s very quiet and peaceful. You have your own little nook on the property with trees all around. Perfect for what we needed to explore...
