« Overall, the location of this place and the apartment itself is wonderful. The check-in process is cumbersome, as well as the process to get/use the garage access. However, I would do it all over again, the price for parking here is much cheaper than anywhere else. There is quick and easy access to DC via the subway. Definitely recommend staying here with a family versus in DC for much more cost. »

« The linens, some were stained and the utensils were dirty. In general the staff around the building are excellent but seem to be unlinked to any of the leases so they are no help in the process. The apartment looked like advertised but better attention to cleaning is a must for the price quoted. The apartment smelled and felt unused for a very long time. »

« This was a perfect place for our needs. We were going to DC for our son’s graduation. This is very close to Gallaudet and Catholic University of America is 2 metro stops away. The Union Market is close by. Heather, the host, was flexible and responsive to what we needed. She seems to have thought of everything. It’s small details -like having a couple of metro cards to use, a wine bottle opener, coffee filters, and a Pyrex container to put in leftovers. She has a book by the TV which is very...

« Wonderful experience in a lovely family home with a private apartment snd private entrance. A very nice yard is also available to guests.This is a good location. We had easy access to the Takoma Park area. We would recommend this apartment to anyone who would like to be in this area. »

« Don’t stay here. I checked in and the beds were dirty, there were dishes in the sink, and the bathroom was dirty as well. I called the host to help me. I sent photos. They said they would try to help me. And there was no response for an hour or afterwards. I couldn’t stay in a dirty bed so I had to book another hotel. As of today, I have not received any response from the host, or reimbursement, or apology. »

« The host went out of her way to provide a perfect, comfortable and festive location for us to prepare and share our family Thanksgiving dinner. Beautifully furnished apartment in a great historic area. Each of the two bedrooms had a comfortable Queen bed and private bathroom. A nice place to come home to after touring. Excellent restaurants, wine shop, markets. Easy subway access and a great place to walk. We were very happy and at home here. Highly recommend. »
