« We stayed at the Pilsley Inn for one night to see Chatsworth on our way to Manchester.
The pub food and service were great. We had 2 meals (dinner and breakfast) and both service and food were really very good. Servers and staff were attentive and hospitable. The location is also excellent.
We stayed in Dunsa in the main building and unfortunately felt a bit catfished by the room considering the price (~$280 USD.) Online their website indicates a cosy double room would either be in the Inn or...

« A nice travellers rest inn, we had a very spacious ground floor room with an equally spacious ensuite, the room was a little noisy early evening, but was generally quiet overnight. Well located in the centre of Bakewell close to all the town has to offer. The adjoining pub has a great atmosphere with excellent food and drinks. The staff were friendly, helpful and accommodating. »

« This property is set in the most beautiful location. There are sweeping vistas and the hotel makes the most of them with large windows in the dining room.
There is ample free parking and the rooms are clean and homey. The staff were friendly and accommodating. The breakfast was delicious. I enjoyed the time spent here. »

« This is not a 4star hotel as described, it’s just a tired old pub that has some accommodation. The ‘deluxe’room that we had booked had stained carpets,sofa and cushions and was very basic. The two small bath towels and one hand towel provided were frayed. The menu is very basic in the pub. I had a pizza that was inedible as it tasted mouldy and looked horrible. « Had a one night stay with children.Rooms were spacious we had 2 family rooms Linnen was clean and fresh.Bathroom was clean all beit a bit dated.
The staff make this place great everyone was very helpful nothing was too much trouble.We had dinner and breakfast and we were all coeliac they had options for choice The price was very budget friendly. Great budget stay in good location »
