'One of the best experiences we have had traveling! Every detail was perfect and the staff were friendly, attentive and accommodating. I cannot say enough good things about the Reserve- bests Ritz, St Regis and Four Seasons for customer service:-)'

'We had a wonderful stay.'

'Heel vriendelijk personeels.

'The hotel is very charming, and the surrounding gardens are beautiful and spacious. Big swimming-pool and lots of space to relax. The city-centre is easily reachable by short Uber-ride (they also have a free transfer at the hotel). The quinta itself is stunning and has many historic features. Our room was big and the bed was comfortable, the bathroom had a decent size. However the room was slightly musty and felt a little overused - nothing to worry though. 'A historic place with the level of service you expect on a place like this. We love to come back for our next special occasion. If you are not exceptional rich it makes a huge dent in your holiday budget. '

'The hotel itself is lovely. Lots of space, 2 nice swimming pools and garden kept in good condition. The room was spacious and very clean. The breakfast was tasty, and the overall ambiance is relaxed. The reason for my lower rating is the fact that there was almost '

'Mooie accomodatie dichtbij centrum Funchal. Lekker ontbijt.

'Very good hotel with bar-restaurant, swimming pool, spa-(services). The hotel is on 20/30 min walking distance (down-hill, so walking back is uphill) from the shopping mall, harbour/boulevard. A welcoming drink, happy hour (discount on drinks). Free shuttle service to the mall @ some times a day available. The restaurant has a very good menu card and very good and friendly services. The garden-diner can be recommended. Excellent quality, price, wine, services, and mingle with people (if you are...

'The hotel is centrally located in Funchal close to the mall, grocery store and the boardwalk. The kitchen is great with a full fridge to store snacks and water. The restaurant downstairs offer a fantastic lunch for great price of 12 euro. The included breakfast is awesome with a great al la carte section breads, cheese and fruit. All staff was great but Kaitalin was fabulous and created a beautiful driving tour for us along the coastline!'

'Schoon hotel. Leuk personeel. Goed ontbijt. '

' an amazing room with frontal sea-view for a great holiday experience'

'We booked a deluxe room, and we got a normal room. The staff was aware of the mistake, but refused to refund the difference. They said I had to address the management. The management finally did not do anything. And that happened at that place two times!'
