« Second stay at sunset cabins, great value for money and very convenient. Loved watching the horses in the nearby field. Very relaxing place! Only thing I would say is that some basic instructions for the combi oven would be helpful as we were never sure if we had the right setting! 😂 and perhaps some softer pillows as they were on the hard side. Personal choice of course. Overall def come back! »

« The images are deceptive. There is no garden or space to enjoy, the images show some space in the front of the hut but that is private and not accessible. I was not aware I was going to be in someone’s garden either. The cleanliness of the place is questionable and on reviewing the review booklet, another recent couple stated the same and the host responded in the booklet with no real acceptance for the review but rather, defensive response. « We had a lovely stay in the cabin. Perfectly located to get to lovely cliff walks and the sea and Paula is an amazing host always on hand to help with anything we needed. We would love to go back. The cabin is really well equipped and is deceptively spacious inside. The view from the deck of the cabin was lovely - straight over to the sea and whilst there are other houses around it felt private and set back from other gardens. »

« Just what we'd hoped and more - a beautiful Shepherds Hut, romantic and warm, stylishly furnished with great attention to detail. It made our first trip without our kids feel very special! The location is sublime with gorgeous views and we will long remember sitting in the hot tub, at sunset, in the rain - pure bliss. »

« The beautiful located barn´s additional advantage is that there are two rooms with separate bathrooms which gives privacy for teenage needs. Very great recommendation for all who enjoy privacy with a wonderful garden. »

« Very impressed with the lodge and experience of our holiday. Staff were very helpful on arrival and lodge was very large with privacy which was great for us. We are in the restaurant one evening, food was superb and again the staff were so friendly and great service. Would definitely return to kentisbury grange! »

« Had an amazing stay at stairway to Devon. Nathan and Helen are fantastic hosts from start to finish. The cabin is stunning with all the added extras that make it special. The cabin is immaculate with everything you need for your stay. I think the local cider and homemade chocolate brownies was a really nice touch. If you are looking for a relaxing retreat with your partner with amazing views of the countryside then this is the place for you. Will definitely be back. Our two chocolate Labradors...

« Had a lovely stay in the Owl's Roost. The hosts were so kind and couldn't have been more helpful. It was so peaceful being surrounded by fields. The cabin was very clean and beautifully decorated, and the bed was comfy! The hosts even offered to provided a telescope to use for the clear nights, which was a very nice touch (we did bring our own) We will be returning again in the future. »

« We were made to feel very welcome and had a fun stay. The cabin is brilliant, we loved the outdoor/indoor kitchen, the pool table, the seating area. Inside the cabin, it's clean with a comfortable bed and good bathroom facilities. I would recommend a stay. The location is perfect too, just a quick drive to the beaches, and has two nice pubs in the village. »

« My first impression was of surprise to the location. I don't remember reading any warning about anyone having mobility issues. The pathway and steps are very steep, and the surface and steps could be better. I did have a fall, thankfully I didn't hurt myself. Perhaps a hand rail. Inside the property you could say was well lived in. We wouldn't expect it to be clinically clean but it could so with a little spruce up. The Fridge wasn't the cleanest, with black bits floating in the water dispenser....

« Lucy was so helpful in answering questions and supporting us. It is a lovely spot unique and connected to the history of the area. Walks from our front door. Good pub across the river and comfy beds as we fell asleep to the sound of the river . We will be back! »
