Châteaux à Lymington

« Charged for the use of the mini bar even though we didnt take anything. Small holes in bed linen upon arrival. Relaxation room, the paintwork was terrible. Slow service all round.Service charge to room is 12.5 percent, slightly inflated for something that shouldnt exist. However nice big bed, attentive staff in main diner.Hydro pool nice touch although children not allowed.Lovely breakfast and main meal.Pools were excellent. I would not stay here again considered this is a four star hotel.I...

« It’s so refreshing to wake up to see the view of the Solent on a clear day and the waves lapping on the edges of the beach. The mature trees close to the Beach House truly gave a feeling of well being when one is close to nature. The Beach House holds a history of achievement firstly with the original residents, the Siemens’s family. The staff were friendly & very helpful. Breakfast choices are varied and the cooked option was freshly made. Our room was larger than expected and comfortable....

« Great host and property had a lovely stay »

« Great breakfast choices and hot food cooked to order. »

« First the positives: location is excellent, tranquil, great for sea wall walks but not too far to the high street. Booking process was seamless. The Boat House has a lovely garden and looks cute. However... the sofa bed is comfortable neither as a sofa or a bed. Everything is slightly down at heel. The floor is not particularly clean - my socks ended up filthy. If you are a biggish person, you won't be able to get into the shower (there's a fixed screen and a small space between it and the...

« Nice property, ideally located for exploring the local area. The garden furniture has seen better days and needs replacing! The synthetic rattan is badly broken in places with some very sharp razor edges which tore my daughters dress and cut her leg! »

« Great property for a mixed group of old friends. With the property being 2 cottages we were able to have a boys and a girls cottage each for sleeping but only using one for cooking and dining and one lounge was big enough for relaxing in plus we had hired a hot tub in a garden. The 2 cottage layout would also work for 2 families as there are 2 kitchens and lounges with enormous tv screens. Parking ok as we were able to squeeze 8 cars in the off road parking. Our group was 11 adults »

« Our stay was amazing. The house was exactly as advertised and Kim was very responsive. There were 7 adults and 2 children and the house was accommodating to everyone’s needs. Location was superb- near a park and a pub across the street. Walking distance from the cutest town. Would definitely recommend to others. »
