« We were just driving through and needed a place to stay for the night. It was an easy check in and very friendly staff so perfect for us. »

« No front desk, all transactions were done remotely! If there was any issue, it would have to be done over the phone! Thankfully everything was fine, but I not a fan of getting instructions on my phone to check in! What if my phone wasn’t working or not charged since I was on the road! It was a wonderful room, but should be informed that there is no one at the hotel! »

« There is nowhere more convenient to the historic district of Hannibal than the Best Western on the River. Not a new property and not a luxury property, but everything was as expected. Indoor swimming pool, light breakfast foods, clean beds and towels, working a/c and shower. This was my second stay here, and next time I visit Hannibal, I'll be staying here again. »

« The only place I ever dated at with a rocking toilet. And the wrong seat on the toilet. A/C unit clanked - fan was hitting something. The worst part was the big hole/depression in the mattress. Sadly, the morning person did not even offer an apology. I will never stay at a hotel/motel with outdoor entrances again. »

« We arrived at the proprty and walked up to the porch to ring the doorbell. The property was overrun with dead plants and was very un kempt. The steps were hard to negotiate for my wife and I. There were pots of dead plants on every step. There was a cat tower next to the front door, and there was feces smeared on it right at eye level. On the one side of the porch was some kind of pet house with heat lamps in front of it, possibly for feral cats? On the other side of the porch were 3 chairs,...
