The biggest problem with this listing is that it is NOT where Expedia's map shows it to be. I thought I had reserved a house in the town of Loreto, and the map on Expedia's site showed it to be in the town. We had a cab take us from the airport to the town, looking for the property at the address I had been given, but we could not find it and we were driving around very confused. We ended up calling the manager of the property, and it turned out that this property was not in the town of Loreto but was in Nopolo, which was 20 minutes south of the town of Loreto. The driver drove us there in the end, but, of course, the whole ride cost us twice as much as originally anticipated.
The property itself did turn out to be a nice place, and we made the best of our stay, but I was very disappointed initially since we were all hoping to stay in the old town of Loreto, instead of a tidy and modern but sleepy neighborhood of vacation homes.
The property is a very comfortable, well-appointed house in a up-scale development by a golf course next to a beautiful beach We were a party of six adults. We were there for 4 nights. The house has nice, spacious roof-top terraces, too. The house was well-maintained and clean. We unfortunately found some mouse droppings on the otherwise very clean kitchen counter, but it might be difficult to keep such small critters completely out because of the very open and airy design of homes in the hot climate.
