Your own private oasis of serenity on Lake Lewisville. We would like to be habit forming. Your own Lake house retreat without the up keep. Come escape the concrete jungle and find your calm. Sit at the water's edge and watch the clouds roll by. Watch a painted sunset with friends. Enjoy some fishing. Your staycation awaits. Complimentary kayaks, canoes, paddle boards and fire pit. Wear a life vest when using any of the boats. Life vests are hanging just outside your door. Bring your ski boat. Boat ramp close by.
Use the fire pit. Fire wood is provided. Roast s'mores. Your own propane grill. Propane provided. Pet friendly. Please pick up your fur babies poo. Washer and Dryer provided. Full kitchen with slide in range, microwave, and dishwasher. Two and a half acres of grass, covered with majestic oak trees. Solar lights in the trees turn our slice of Lake Lewisville into an enchanted realm at night. Come join us. There are two short term rentals here. Our 2 1/2 acre lot has the cottage on the far left and the studio on the far right. Owner lives on site in the main house. Our rentals are positioned for your utmost privacy. Guest should know we are located in unincorporated Denton county. You will drive past some trailer houses and junk cars. We share this with you, so you, might not judge our neighbors. It is very quiet out here.

Adorable cottage right on the lake! Has all of the amenities, updated interior, plenty of kayaks and life vests to use (which was awesome), a fun saucer swing for kiddos, plenty of outdoor seating with a fire pit area, etc. And the hosts were very friendly and accommodating! We just stayed for a night on the way down to our final destination but could have easily stayed for a week! I saw in the welcome binder that there were walking trails and local restaurant suggestions, which would have been fun to explore!

Family friendly lakeshore cottage

Wow….i way underestimated how amazing this beautiful place would be until I got there. The owners are so kind and thoughtful . The cottage has such wonderful nice touches and was so comfortable and clean. The setup with the kayaks , canoes snd life jackets was such a cool option to partake in along with the cornhole setup . Of course we took advantage of the fire pit and make some smores. We will be coming back again and again 💯. It was just too amazing you will not be disappointed; thank you so much for the wonderful time !

Great Little Lake House

They have everything you need to enjoy the lake! Loved having all the kayaks, paddle-boards, etc., & life jackets. Fire pit at the lake was really nice and relaxing! Only a few minor complaints like the dryer not automatically shutting off (couldn’t let it run unless we were there to monitor) and had to buy shampoo and conditioner…other than that, it was super peaceful and we would go back!

Tiny gem

This is a small cottage on the back side of the hosts home. It is updated with nice touches. It feels updated, yet like a cottage. The waterfront access is literally right out the back door. They made your own parking spot- nice touch. Bed was comfy, shower was warm, heater was great, kitchenette was all we needed. WiFi was not great, TV was on WiFi and not great. The neighborhood is not the greatest to look at, but easily forgotten when you get inside. Traffic in the neighborhood was nuts at 7-7:30am and 5pm. Traffic on the main road was insane all the time except leaving for the airport at 3am on Saturday morning. Tons of restaurants to choose from. Grocery store was close by. It’s incredible the difference between the quiet cottage and the hustle and bustle of the main road a mile and a half away. We loved our stay and will be back for sure.

Property description is incorrect

I'm just being nice about the star rating i've given to these homeowners. I would of liked to say that this home was pleasant to stay in, but my family and I didn't even want to spend our night here. This property listing involves false advertisment as well as very rude owners. We found out that the cottage we were going to stay in is in these people's backyard, about 15 ft away from their actual home. There was no information in the description to inform us about this problem and my family and I felt very uncomfortable staying for the night. So, after we found this out, I got in contact with the owners to discuss what might of just been a mistake to them and could of been easily fixed. Apparently the owner didn't like to hear that I wanted a refund and made the situation so much worse than it was. In no way was she being professional or respectful throughout the process, being that she was yelling and arguing like a 40 yr old little kid. In other words, if your interested in this property just know that this cottage is in this womens backyard and the owners are not all that they seem to be unless your giving them your money. Safe travels everyone :)

Perfect getaway!

What a perfect little paradise! The cottage has been so thoughtfully planned out with the comfort and relaxation of the guests being the top priority. Came out for a quick girls paddle boarding trip with the dog and couldn’t have asked for a better location! So quiet and calm, we are already looking at dates to return as soon as possible!

Great Experience

My wife and I have stayed at many places on many different lakes this was our first time on Lake Lewisville it was definitely one of the bests places we have booked. My wife loved the cottage it was super clean and had everything we needed for cooking and comfort and loved the lights also lake view was gorgeous. If you love to fish I'm going to give a shout out to Ken he gave me a ride down to the boat ramp to get my truck and allowed me to dock my boat on the lake which makes a 4 days of fishing trip so much easier. Great host ,Great experience, Thanks

Quiet Oasis

We stayed at the cottage while we were visiting our son. We had visions of just relaxing and hanging around at the lake with him; sadly it was too cold and windy while we were there for that. The lake is however just as pictured and most times would be a perfectly lovely place to spend time at. The general area is experiencing a lot of development and area traffic was heavy. But shortly before you get to the cottage the road gets small and while staying there we had no sense of how much development is nearby. The cottage was absolutely great for our needs. It is small so where to put luggage, etc was a little challenging but in spite of its size it had everything we needed and was very comfortable. Lovely quiet both day and night. Owners let us know they were available if needed but otherwise didn’t interact. We had plenty of privacy and no issues. Would absolutely stay again should we return to the area..
