Great fishing, right from the dock! And very responsive owners. We really enjoyed our stay. Warning: the driveway down to the house is steep and there are 56 steps down to the water. But that adds to the fun! »

« The home was nice and clean. There was more than enough space for my family. The location was great, close to everything. William was so helpful and communication was open our entire stay. He even accomodated us staying longer. We will stay here again anytime we're in Winston Salem! »

« I can't recommend this rental enough. Dana was amazing to work with and very responsive to the couple of hiccups we had. The village is so cute and feels like a setting in a Hallmark movie. And then there's the local history. So much history! »

« Beautiful property on high rock Lake that was meticulously maintained and accommodating. Alfred made our stay over the top by his attentiveness and attention to our needs of any kind! The house was plenty ice and well equipped, and there was plenty of parking as well as additional parking offered. I would stay there again anytime and likely will book another weekend soon. »

« This was our second stay at Castaway Cottage. Lovely view of the lake in a rural, quiet subdivision. Our hosts, as always, attentive and accommodating. If you like getting up in the morning, relaxing with a cup of coffee and watching water-birds on the lake, this is the location for you. »
